pvp tournament

in PvP Gameplay
im thinking about making a 5vs5 pvp tournament, record and parse all the matches, and let the devs take a look, this should give us a better insight at what needs to be fixed, we will come up with some kind of rewards so, whos up ?

    And we kinda already know what "the problem" is. Power creep of astronomical (pun intended) scale.

    Top tier dps doing 300-400k dps, and nothing to counter that....yeah, pvp is not fun anymore. Alpha strike and done... Or the flip side of that, both are so tanky no one dies.

    Edit: On our fleet, on occasion, we do limited pvp tournaments. For example, T1 ships only and traits/reps off to level out the playing field. This is based on honor system though, as there is no way to verify traits are actually off.

    those top tier dps builds cant even scratch my shields. thats not the point here, and yes there are plenty of pvpers and we usually do private matches... but well, i guess dps is the meta now...

    Some German dude has been trying to get a 3v3 tournament for weeks now and there is only 1 team so far.
    Number of participants depends on the rules, if it were 3v3 and no other rules you could see a RE team taking part. But for 5v5 there often just arent enough players in fleets.
