Why I can't use my aegis set on my 23century character even if the level match ?

    What is your character level? Some XII gear requires 50 and above.

    My character is lv 46

    Some crafted gear lies. Its 50 even though it says ra lower half. Youll have the same problem with particle exciters, conductive rcs, and the particle torpedo.

    Was there any way to "convert" the older 'bound to character' pieces of this set? I remember that they've changed it to 'bound to account' at some point.

    Not after the fact. If you craft/buy new ones they will be bta.

    They could add this set to the npc on ds9 where you can already "rework" the omega rep pieces. I can't remember the reason for this npc & the need for it, but regardless, it would be one of many options.

    Task Force Omega used to require you to go to the shop on DS9 to buy gear.

    Playing since beta so I am aware of that. But are you aware of an npc still sitting there, with the option to convert older parts (or whatever) of the omega rep?

    yeah. I never got the old versions so :p I got a set of Borg gear but that was it. I looked at the prototype tech requirements for MACO and went "maybe eventually...."

    I have an Aegis set question....

    How do you craft an Aegis piece in ultra-rare if you have Gumare? Using catalysts?

    R&D levels beyond 15 will increase odds of UV. As will catalysts.
