New Kelvin Dread aka Vengeance

Can anyone suggest a build to maximize DPs for this ship. It's been a long time since I have played. Still stuck in the area of faw and aux to battery, but hear that is no longer the meta. The toon flying her is a new Fed Temporal agent tac captain. Just got the ship. And dilithium and ec are not a major concern, but I would like to cap it to under $700 million to equip.

    Very generic, right off the top of my head:

    LtCmdr TAC : TacTm1, Attack Pattern Beta 1, BFAW3

    Cmdr ENG/Intel: ET1, Auxiliary to Dampeners 1 (with Matter-antimatter specialist DOFF), OSS3 (Power surge for your best attacks), Ionic Turbulence 3 (Heavy Debuff)

    Ens SCI: Transfer Shield Strength 1

    Lt UNIV/Temporal: Polarize Hull 1, Hazard Emitters 2

    LtCmdr UNIV: EmPower to Shields 1, Reverse Shield Polarity 1, Emergency Power to Weapons 3


    It's a very generic, quick BFAW build. Fire off Ionic Turbulence first at the target(s) for heavy debuff, it needs a little travel time. When it hits and debuffs the target(s), then fire off your best Tactical attack sequence:

    Tac Captain buffs + APB1 + BFAW3 + EPTW3 + OSS3

    Your basic heals are present with ET1, HE2 for hull heals. You have EPTS1, RSP1, TSS1 to help on shield heals. The DOFF improved Auxiliary to Dampeners 1 is a nice addition to the ship. PH1 is there to break you free from tractors without burning your Evasive Maneuvers as well as providing a great resist buff. A2D improves your ship's handling and gives kinetic resists. The Matter-antimatter specialist DOFF will increase the buff duration and give a +All Energy Weapons Damage resist on top of it. If you don't have that DOFF, the Rare & Very Rare ones are expensive on the exchange, but honestly, the Uncommon quality one is dirt cheap and does the job well enough. You may check your Commendations DOFF vendor to see if it has one, I'm not sure though.

    Ive got mine pullin 50-65k sustained depending on the map. I'm using the 2 piece console set from the Vengeance and the Proton Launcher along with upgraded Kelvin Timeline phasers [crtd]x3 [dmg], Torpedo. The bonus from the set adds 25% phaser damage and 25% kinetic dmg from Kelvin torpedo's. full Iconian space set. After that its pretty much FAW III and Kemocite Weaponary III. Stuff goes boom and parser loves it.

    Where does the 2 piece set come in? Don't tell me I need both lock box ships - yikes that would be pricey.

    Well you could get it by using the console from the Constitution but you can easily get the other two consoles out of the console pack on the market for really cheap. The Proton Launcher/Mining Drill pack.

    Yes imo. Leach goes on all my ships no matter what. Luckily they are MUCH cheaper now thanks to the infinity box.
