Lock box ships

I know it's all random, but I'm wondering if someone under level 60 can get a T6 ship out of a lockbox. I've used about 30 keys and not gotten one. I just want to know if I should keep wasting my money or if it's absolutely impossible to get a ship unless you are 60.

There are people who have gotten a ship on their first try, and there are also people who have emptied their bank accounts and opened 100's of lockboxes while never getting a ship. The chance of getting one is very small, has nothing to do with your level.

it's a gamble... you can get 3 in 10 boxes or not see a single 1 in a thousand... if you really want one wait till they add it to the next infinity box... then you can at least say you got a chance at a leech, some good duty officers or traits.

If I'm not mistaken, historically, the 'grand prize' level rewards from lock boxes have something like a third of a percent chance of dropping (that's 0.33%, give or take). It's probably unwise to buy keys for the express purpose of getting one of these ships; I suspect most of the ones that find their way onto the exchange (they're still tradeable while boxed, after all) were happy accidents found by a lucky few who were just farming lobi.
