  Not sure you can, I'm sure there are third party things that might allow that but Cryptic doesn't allow third party programs to interact with STO.

  2560x1440 is available in either Windows Maximized or Fullscreen.
  
  I run the game in 2560x1440 @ 144hz Full Screen, so I know it's an option. Here is a silly question OP.. are you sure the monitor you're using supports that resolution? If your card is selected (Mine is Direct 3d #1) and the monitor supports the resolution, then it should be available in the list.
  
  Only other thing I can think of is to make sure your Aspect Ratio is on Auto or on 16:9. 2560x1440 will not be available if your aspect ratio is set to 16:10.

  I use Nvidia settings and turn on DSR Factors on 1.78x which then gives me the option for 2560x1440
