Refined Dil I mean. If you got 5m refined dil like as a prize or something?

Anyway,

Upgrade gear? Would you have more left over?
Fleet? Or not worth it/done?
Trade for zen to get c-store stuff?

Each tier 4 you complete of boff missions opens up a store to buy purple Doffs. I gone through a modest amount of Dil buying out the whole shop each time I get to tier 4.

There's also lots of uses for dil-to-fleet creds.

Mostly I think I'd be looking at ways to supercharge my new Temporal Recruit's progress. They'll probably be the first and only character I buy the extra research slot for...

in the current exchange rate's ,set to buy zen 469 = 10.660 z go to sleep
next login ,sell zen 489 = 5.212.740

and/or keep it as zen ,until i get 16k z = delta ,rom or temporal pack
and/or keep it as zen ,wait until ship discount sell = 9k z ship pack's

if you enjoy playing with the z/dil market i would recomment keeping 20k - 25k z always in stock in trade

5 mil refined dil is nothing uncommon considering that one gets that currency thrown in the face whenever one turns a stone in this game. Epic builds can be made easily during upgrade weekends but will cost more like 2 only. For fleet contributions you need upgrade projects for dil in that magnitude and I don’t see any use for 5 mil fleet credits aside from investments which lead to yet more dil thrown at you.

Trash it for zen atm is hard but would get you some of the new stuff which could be desirable to you.

My advice for the time being is to spread the dil over multiple alts because of the hard cap of 10 mil dil we not only have on refined but also und refined dil. If that isn’t an option to you try to balance your deck of toons a bit better against your average time and how you spend it in STO.

Don’t worry that much about dil. Even if you use the dil for something "wrong" it should not be a thing considering how easy it is replaced and it is only 5 mil we are talking about…

Upgrades, then some selective fleet donations with which to afford some fleet items I've long wanted, like the Krenim BOffs and more of those fancy consoles.

I'd go along the same lines.
Currently saving up Dil and getting Upgrades for next upgrade Weekend (so far I have 600 beam Upgrades, 320 ground, 200+ cannon, 150 shield,.... Needs a lot of Dilithium

I'd convert most of that into 9000 zen and when AoY launches, get the 3 cross faction ship, then save the rest for upgrades.

I have no idea, I never had that kind of Dil. I know part of it will go for gear upgrades. Specially for my alts. I never hit a million Dil at one time. And this is on all my characters combined!
