in Star Trek Online General Discussion
This thread is for my fellow feline players and friends to the feline races.
Here we can chat, discuss issues and play with big balls of yarn. and no, that is not a sexual reference.

If you don't like feline toons, go post somewhere else. I am sure you
will not like it here. Go bother the Vulcans.

ok, New trailer out...thoughts ?
I kinda like the bridge layout but not holding my breath for it to be open for players.

seen a play through on you tube..Dannys face gets worse and worse...like burn marks, whats with that ?

    Seriously though, I never understood the need for all-Caitian channels, fleets or (now) news networks.

    It goes against one of the core principles of the franchise. IDIC, remember?

    Right this way to the airlo ... ahem ... litter box room. Don't mind the officer standing next to the door controls, he's the ... umm ... litter box cleaner! Just tap on the hatch two times once your sealed inside so he knows your ok.

    Time travel and glass-cannon ships hurt my head and is NOT what Trek is about. Trek is exploration, becoming better as a species, and gaining scientific knowledge while holding on to the traditions that got us where were are.

    Do I bug folks that do ? nope because....I am not required to play one.

    so, to the various trolls...if you even care, you are not required to play a feline
    IN FACT, you have to PAY for that right.

    any news on how Klingons or Rom fit in this new expansion...if at all ?

    You started a thread claiming it was for and about Caitians, but your first proposed topics of discussion are a trailer, a bridge, and KDF/Rom content that we alrewdy know we aren't getting? Other threads already exist for these subjects, but they didn't have the word Caitian slapped on them so obviously you had to start one for them, because God forbid you discuss something without letting everyone know you're a Caitian player.

    Are you literally incapable of engaging in any form of interaction without the pretense of furries? Have you ever started a thread that wasn't specifically about or otherwise references Caitians? And what exactly is a "narsi-ugly"?

    Well Caitians are, performance-wise, pretty awesome and they're the only species that have a funny ability that does not cost a trait slot. Their jump abilities (and for non-tactical ones the Pounce trait) really set them apart and provide for an unique experience so I can understand why some people love them so much.

    But yeah, the sheer obsession some people have with the species, to the point they need to exclude every other species and constantly try to focus on a single species whereas Trek was never about one species (except humans and Earth who were overrepresented to a certain degree maybe), is somewhat strange indeed.

    I choose to play the Caitian because...it is fun.
    That is it.
    I also play SWTOR and I play a...cyborg...because it is fun
    I sometimes play DDO and I play Drow...because in that game it is fun.

    why do I do it ? for fun

    Some folks are just to damn serious for their own good.
    In STO I choose to be a cat....meow, get over it :-P
