edited June 2016 in Tribble - Bug Reports
I've been having an issue for about three weeks. I have been trying to login to Tribble to review the new Agents of Yesterday and I'm unable to load the game client. I receive the Cryptic splash screen, and the progress bar moves to about 25% then it crashes to the desktop. I the Cryptic Error program loads and I enter a description of the problem, then error program hangs. I've let it run for an hour and a half and it is still initializing. So, the crash dump is never sent.
full DxDiag file I can send to support

The Cryptic Error Program Displays the following code

I'm getting the same thing. Except it happens after I pass 90% load. It almost loads all the way, the screen flashes, and then I am back to the desktop with the crash report tool opening.
And the crash reporter will not link up with the server either, so it just sits there for hours trying to send the report. Yes, I let it run for over an hour.
And customer service says they cant do anything, since they don't control the Tribble server.

I'm glad I'm not the only one having the problem. I've also found that disabling the firewall doesn't help either.

Ok, completely disabled everything, firewall, internet security and antivirus. It still crashes error reporter still hangs.

Just downloaded the latest patch and I get to the Character create/select screen before crashing, yea! The crash diagnostic program completes and sends a crash report so we are heading in the right direction. :)

Downloaded latest patch still crashes on create/select screen. I guess come July 6th I wont be playing STO anymore as I will not be able to login into Holodeck either. Doesn't seem like there's any progress on fixing the problem. Oh well! Fun while it lasted.

So this is the 5th patch now that I havent been able to log in without it crashing for me. I keep getting this error: 160630 01:35:02 2 InvalidType[1]: Error decompressing data. Verifying Files in the launcher may fix this issue.: F:/Program Files (x86)/Star Trek Online/Star Trek Online/Playtest/piggs/data.hogg: animation_library/StarTrekMale02/Scale/STM_Scale_Physique_02.atrk:
    160630 01:35:02 3 InvalidType[1]: Read wrong number of bytes: F:/Program Files (x86)/Star Trek Online/Star Trek Online/Playtest/piggs/data.hogg: animation_library/StarTrekMale02/Scale/STM_Scale_Physique_02.atrk: 13
I have also ran it in safe mode and force verify but it still does it.

I finally had to uninstall STO, completely delete the directories and reinstall. Finally would load without crashing
