My thoughts on the Vaadwaur.

I've been trying to collect Vaadwaur equipment to replicate their look. I think they have a lot of very cool equipment and uniforms. I love how their weapons all look cannon based. I also enjoy their more tradtionally shaped ships and military uniforms.
Though one thing I wonder is why were they never given a carrier? In the Voyager episode in which they first appeared, the only ships they are shown to have are those Pythus fighters. All the other Vaadwaur ships were made specifically for STO. Considering their only cannon ships were swarms of fighters it stands to reason that they would have something that can carry those fighters in game. An escort carrier, full carrier or flight deck cruiser. Much to my surprise they have none of those which means their only cannon ship makes absolutely no appearances outside of those few shuttle based missions one might undertake.
Also, it's unfortunate that we only got the vaadwaur officer gear. Their footsoldiers had very cool backpacks and stuff similar to the Omega uniform (which can't be combined with Vaadwaur officer clothing for some reason.)
Anyways I've been working on collecting Vaadwaur gear for my main character. Sofar I have the officer outfit, and Vaadwaur weapons. Then a guildy surprised me with giving me enough credits for an Astika Cruiser on my birthday. So here's what I have set up sofar.
There's my Astika Battlecruiser which I think looks pretty flashy with the Aegis shield and Breen Impulse engines.
And here's my bridge crew in the Vaadwaur officer outfit. I studies pictures of the Vaadwaur NPCs to try and copy their exact uniforms.
Anyways, for the record I am still looking to acquire the Manasa escort. I have 150 million saved up sofar. If anyone has one and is feeling generous it'd be a fine birthday gift to let me have it for the 150 mil....(Also you'd be selling it immediately rather than waiting for somebody else to decide to purchase from the market) (I have other items I can throw in to help with the price.)

Are there any Vaadwaur Doffs?
Not that I know of.

As far as I know, there are no Vaadwaur DOffs.
Excellent. I do love themes.
Yeah, an ability to boost Cannon arcs would be a great addition to the game.
