Emotes on powerboards

in Star Trek Online General Discussion
Didn't we use to have the ability to sit lounge on our boards? Is there a reason this changed or is it just me?

    Yeah... sleeping on your board while moving it rather trippy... in a bad posture sort of way, that would make a chiropractor cringe...

    I wish there were some cooler jump animations with boards, like there are with ice skating.

    The emotes tend to look weird. (The dance ones particularly...)
    Star Trek Online Advancement: You start with lowbie gear, you end with Lobi gear.

    use crouch, you can't just use the emote

    I didn't play with it much today because every time I was on a board, I was waiting for the race or running it, but I was unable to crouch on the board.

    Could be something on my end, could be I didn't wait long enough for the crouch, but it worked before the update, and now...

    Anyone else?

    crouch doesn't look like you're crouching really. I'd have to tinker with it.... I haven't done it in a while.

    I can confirm that you can no longer emote on the powerboards. I'd assumed that they'd disabled it on the shorter boards when I noticed they weren't working this year, but I just tried a few emotes out on a longer board and I couldn't get it to work.

    Tried crouching and everything, but nothing worked.

    Yeah something changed. I got it to work but I am a little afraid to say, but for others that want do it. Crouch first, them summon the board. Then you can do your remotes.

    I really hope that Cryptic is not trying to stop this.

    Thanks. I wondered what happened. It's fun to do emotes on the board while waiting for the race to start.

    I don't even mind the disco balls at the start. It's Risa, a place to have fun. That I have a nullifier is irrelevant. I got it so I could emote-dance if I wanted to dance or not if I didn't feel like it.

    It doesn't slow me down either way. I hardly ever place in the race anyways.
    Now a LTS and loving it.
    Just because you spend money on this game, it does not entitle you to be a jerk if things don't go your way.
    I have come to the conclusion that I have a memory like Etch-A-Sketch. I shake my head and forget everything. :D
