Can't claim Commander ship on TOS

in Tribble - Bug Reports
I am not sure if this is working as intended or what, but if so not it is game breaking as I can't advance much farther, I can run Temporal Ambassador and get a Commander ship that way, but other that, if TOS can't get any ships afterwards what's the use in playing them?

    I just hit Commander, and didn't receive token for new ship as well. However, I'm only up to Skirmish in the Klingon War arc.

    Glad I'm not the only one. Anyone else getting the same problem, and has anyone overcome it?

    It seems that ALL tos characters are having this issue. No workaround currently known.

    My AoY has the title, Spock even says so. I have the pips. I've promoted my bridge officers to Lt. Commander. I have not been promoted by Adm. Quinn. No new ship for me. Cannot open the career specific kit reward box that I suppose is for Commanders. I am currently lvl 28, have assigned all of my points and am stuck in "Everything old is new again" with the "down to the bones" bug.

    My guess is that someone forgot to temporarily hook up any promotion missions for the Temporal Agent faction beyond the Tier 2 one that's part of the transition sequence.

    Actually, that may be good news; it seems to indicate that TAs will have a separate promotion sequence from base Federation characters...

    Same issue here for me. Guess I'll be running the new content with a Connie Refit. :wink:

    ALL TOS Characters have only the level 10 ship and rest ships cost 40k dilitium

    That would make the TOS unplayable if that is how it is supposed to be, as how the heck will you be able to get the dilithium for the ships on a constant basis

    I'm quite sure it's not how it's supposed to be. The promotion missions (the ones that give you your free tokens) are obviously just broken for TOS characters at the moment.

    Also noted that even though my AoY character is now Captain rank, still cannot use Mk VI gear....

    Do you have anything like mirror ships? Once you ge to level 40 you could try using one of those.

    In my case, I happened to have copied one of my Live server chars when he had a pile of keys in inventory, and I managed to pull a Mesh Weaver escort from a lock box. If you happen to have a few keys in Live server, you could try your luck at that approach to end-game ships as well. It was enough to carry my AoY toon up to level 50something right now.
    Also, I don't seem to have any problem equipping high Mk gear. Not sure what's up with that.

    As a quick (ish) and dirty 'fix' ... go to Drozna & get the testing packages of Dilithium from the testing vendor console (middle of the far wall in the bar section.) Then go to K-7 or ESD and buy ships with that Dilithium. The travel time in the Frontier is ... looong that's why I rcommend picking up your new ship at K-7 ... shorter travel time that way.
