New TOS Era ships?

in Tribble - General Discussion and Feedback
Are they any other TOS Era Ships in game other than the Utility Cruiser (Pioneer) or the Consitution, I thought I saw somewhere that there was going to be more than just that?

    There are additional TOS era ships. As for when you can use them, they unlock at various level tiers like the regular ships. Whether you will be able to use these ships during the TOS portion of the game is unclear, since not all of the missions have hit Tribble yet, so the extent of the playable TOS missions is unclear beyond the 6 missions that exist at the moment. It might be possible that they will be adding in other missions in between those that are already available, but we won't know until they put more missions on Tribble/launch the expansion.

    I get only the utility cruiser. I have the TOS Connie on Holodeck, I bought the AoY pack, but I have no access to anything but the standard FTP fare at Lt Cmdr.

    Isn't there a console or something somewhere that lets people try new ships?

    There isn't, nor will there be. You have to wait for the release to get the ships from the AoY pack. They won't be available on Tribble.

    I thought they were going to be releasing standard versions of ships, as in the AoY pack it says this for example for the t2 daedalus.....

    There isn't a Nautilus Class in game currently that is what i was talking about.

    I'm curious, My in game Connie has blue phasers that scale with my level. Will they stay in game? Will the Connie from Agents of Yesterday override the Connie I already have? Will I have access to 2 Constitution class tier 1 cruisers? Will my other Fed characters get access to the AoY ships, other than the tier 6 ones? Will my Agents of Yesterday characters get access to my current C-store ships?

    So many questions, no current answers.

    This question ranks up there with my questions too. I don't want to lose my infinite blue phasers. Yes I know min/maxers they're not as good as equivalent crafted phasers, but I don't care The whole point is I don't have to rainbow boat my phasers between yellow and blue, but for AoY I can do all Blue phasers from T1 to T6 and have them level pretty much with me, then craft them later up to Tier XIII.

    Most of this we don't know yet. Geko, in his P1 interview, said that all of the TOS ships would be available to Fed and TOS toons, but at this point it looks like other than the Pioneer starter ship all of them will only be available from the C-store, with TOS toons picking from the existing free Fed leveling ships if they don't buy them. It might change, but I would not count on it.

    I'm glad the AoY TOS ships are going to be available to Fed's. I liked the Akira Class until I had to stare at its' plumbers crack for half an hour. Don't get me wrong, I like it from the front top or sides, it's a very pretty ship, but, I can't stand it from the rear. I've had to perform extensive modifications in the ship tailor to get something I'm happy to look at. Something like an Oslo saucer with nacelles, a bit reminiscent of the Steamrunner class. The Perseus/Theseus class is a godsend!

    Yup.

    Nope. To get the new one, you have to dismiss your current one, then reclaim it. It'll automatically be the new one. If you don't do that, then you will still have the old model/texture. Stats are the same.

    Nope. It's the exact same ship, just with a new and much better model/texture.
    Will my other Fed characters get access to the AoY ships, other than the tier 6 ones?

    I'm not sure, though if they can get the t6 ones then I wouldn't be surprised if they could use the TOS skins on them, if they have a TOS counterpart.

    I don't see why not. They're fed, after all.

    What we should get are some background npc ships that look more 60's appropriate.
