Bought a matter anti matter specialist but cant use her???????????

I am trying to craft an Isolinear circuitry and had to buy the bloody specialist. As soon as I did I tried to craft the circuitry and it wont let me. I have the open spot the materials to and shes on reserve, so now whats the problem.
Damm this crafting is getting pretty annoying.

    so I restarted the game hoping it would help but it still says I don't have the duty officer available

    Couple of questions:

    Is your R&D school high enough level? I believe Isolinear Circuitry requires Level 5 in Beams or Cannons to craft.

    Is the officer you bought of the correct faction? If you're a Fed you can't use a KDF or ROM doff. lol.

    Well, that kinda sucks a little. But at least it's a fixable problem. :) Just sell the wrong faction doffs on the exchange and buy the correct ones! :p

    Oh, for reference you don't need an R&D specialist doff for crafting components, just those high end Level 15 items. :)

    Be sure to check the "Useable Items" button at the bottom of the Exchange UI before buying; it will auto-filter the wrong factions...
