  The devs used races that were in STO already, and also were in one or more episodes of TOS, but not TAS or the movies.

  Please explain why a species who is canon to the time period, isn't included in the options to create. Where are the Caitian, the Denobulans, the Edosian, or the other species canon to the OST and TAS series.

  Additionally the lack of content, and a zero love shown for the Romulan or Klingon side of things in the Original Era... I would really like it if this got addressed.

  
  "lack of content" it's the test server, and we're discussing something that won't be released for another two months. They're adding missions two at a time, once a week, just like with Delta Rising.
  
  As for the Klingons and Romulans, one of Cryptic's rules is "no playing the bad guys", which is why we have the Romulan Republic.
