It's considered good forum behavior to not start a new thread on a topic when there are already existing threads on it. If you look through the first 2-3 pages of this forum you should find several existing threads.
This gets you an instant answer to your question, and keeps you from stepping on the toes of people who don't want to see yet another version of the same thread. Win-win!
Daf...you aren't the offended party here. You are the offending party.
Take the comments as brutally as you want, but they are truthful. Cross platform playing has been covered in other threads already receiving prominent feature status. It's up to you to search for existing current threads before making new threads.
That's cool man. Your world, your rules. If that's ruined your day, don't step outside.
Dafeng, he was just trying to give you helpful advice. You don't have to be snarky when it comes to other people saying that something's been covered already.

Vegeta, I can appreciate that. I was just surprised my post would be such a felony.

as you are a new poster I will advise you that there are certain rule and etiquette covering web forums and you should follow these rules if you are going to be a very active poster.
having said that you will often find that some long time posters are apt to break the rules as much as anyone (just count the number of threads covering this very subject to see that) so don't fret over it, just take it under advisement and carry on.
When I think about everything we've been through together,
maybe it's not the destination that matters, maybe it's the journey,
and if that journey takes a little longer,
so we can do something we all believe in,
I can't think of any place I'd rather be or any people I'd rather be with.
Where if you don't get insulted, trolled or snarked at in the first couple of posts..., Then YER DOIN'T IT WRONG!
<chuckle>
Really though, a thick skin is most helpful around here and Never EVER, take any of this too serious or too heart.

I like you.
It's pretty much this hard to keep just one timeline intact. ♪
