I was out of town for the past two days, and so I realize that the devs may not be able to answer this over the weekend, but maybe they'll see it by Monday.
Here it goes:
1. I already have a tier 1 connie for my Feddie characters thanks to an old promo code. Does this still work for the AoY or is that a new faction and needs to be rebought?
2. Following up on number 1, if it doesn't need to be rebought does that affect the Starter pack? Like is it something where the Starter pack can't be bought by people already in possession of the t1 Connie similar to problems purchasing other packs where you already have one part of the pack as it stands?
3. If it doesn't affect the starter pack then I can only assume that AoY is a new faction or at least mini faction. Are they going to be specifically feddie or will it be determined by the player ala LoR?
4. How does this all affect PvP? I don't do PvP anymore thanks to Lockbox ships and a general lack of interest by the devs, but I am curious. And if AoY is a new faction, and it doesn't align necessarily with the Feds or any other faction, it could present opportunities or issues.
5. Seeing as how we're using old ships, is there any hope for the NX Refit from Ships of the Line that shows a progression into the Connie? I really love that design and would love it if it were to be so. Also, it vaguely resembles the t4(t5?) Battlecruiser Starship and so would there be an opportunity to put that skin on there.
Thanks. I realize that I may not get any responses, but maybe this will help the Devs have a better idea for where to steer Q&A.
Live long and prosper!

6. I have only seen the Pioneer class as a freemum vessel (very nice). With LoR, I only bought a Starter pack because you got the freebies anyways and all the way up until t5(at the time), ships were throwaways. That being said, it always seemed to me to be very generous on Cryptic's part, but personally, 100+ bucks were a lot to shell out for only slightly better ships when I could just buy the ships that I actually wanted and their t5 equivalent.
This brings me to my question: Will the Pioneer class be the only free ship offered? I'm not offended if so, you can play a lot of this game fairly easily with just a t1 vessel. In fact, before the release of the fleet t2 science vessels, I had a fed character that was rolling a t2 Rhode Island and loving it. The game play was so much more challenging, but I wasn't overwhelmed by 10X the powers either. I'm just more curious than anything.
7. This question kinda falls under the whole will the AoY be aligned with one of the 2410 factions: Will other t6 starships be off limits that are faction specific? For instance, will I be able to use an Intel Eclipse Cruiser (hey, with the phantom engines, it looks like it could roll as a timeship to me) on the AoY? I guess this goes for the other factions also if there's a chance to choose or not (probs not though).
8. If we are to assume that I can't use other factions t6 specific crafts, which may be likely if you consider that even Starfleet may not be so willing to just give a ship to some random time jockey, how does this apply to the veteran awards? Specifically, the 1000 day ship and however many hundred day yacht?
Just as a comment to the possible implications to these questions:
While I think that it would be a slight bummer if Cryptic decided to charge for basically all but one ship in respect to this faction, it would not seem out of place in my mind. I've just come to expect these things, so I'm not so beat up about the possibility. That being said, I have always thought that Cryptic's biggest mistake with the Starships was the price that they charge. $30 may be great in the upfront value, but I really limit my purchases for ships considering that they feel waayyyy to expensive for a digital item. Maybe I'm alone in this and honestly, Cryptic's model is generous, but it just seems as though they would get more purchases for ships at a slightly lower price then they would for overcharging on digital objects. I don't see the data though and Cryptic does. Maybe they have a different perspective than I.
No doubt, that's why I included in my OP. I don't think that I'm going to get an immediate answer, but I just hope to get the devs attention to some of the questions that they may have not thought to answer.
Also will these packs be purchasable from the c-store for Zen, if that is the case then it's possible I could maybe get the funds together for the top pack as I have currently a fair amount of zen I could top up.
If I had to guess, I'd say most (if not all) of your questions will be answered in an FAQ - especially if they're the ones that everybody's asking.
That'd be neat.
9. Will there be an option to change the skin on these TOS vessels to something more 25th Century once we get past a certain level or if we have the t6 ship?
The T-1 Connie got a complete rebuild, I'd be very surprised if They didn't give it to everybody who already owns it.
Many of your questions were answered in the latest P-1 interview with Gecko.
I doubt They will make the two new Temporal Agent packs so that they can't be bought by everyone who wants them.
(no matter what ships you already own)
That would not be sound financial sense, when introducing a new expansion.
The new expansion includes a Classic Star Trek Faction from the year 2270 (again according to Mr. Gecko).
In so much as back then the Klingons and Romulans were not members of the Federation, they will not be playable in the new faction.
That is not to say that they won't have stuff to do though, there is a lot of stuff coming that will be available to all the pre-existing faction as well.
We just have to wait and see what it is.

Forever a STO Veteran-Minion
starting from t2 deadlus and and the t6 pizza cutter, if you bought both of these, the parts are interchangeable its the same going up to the t5 ranger you would need to get the t6 paladin with it so those parts can be interchangeable. so if you had a 26th temporal ship and the 23rd, you flew the 26th around, youcould switch entirely to the 23rd costume parts and look the part of an ancient tos warship in endgame.
Been around since Dec 2010 on STO and bought LTS in Apr 2013 for STO.
Thanks for the reply, and I saw that. Actually, what I was wondering is if some of the other 25th Century skins or Veteran skins would be applicable in some way to the older ships.
Personally I like some of the TOS designs better then their T6 counterparts which actually surprised me. The Perseus, Gemini and Ranger all look pretty nice.
