We were just out to have some fun. We were both lagging heavily so we thought maybe it would be better if we attempted it with just the two of us. I was still laggy (watch how many times I attempt to activate Intel Fleet or my ping graph at the lower right corner).
We took the video more of a way to document the run and find improvements for the next tries.

The term Wizard of STO was never some sort of trademark or IP reserved by one group of players who came up with it first and think they can claim it or keep it for ever. Each player who knows how the game works, who manages to do stuff only few or close to no one can and then makes a cool show out of it delivers STO magic.
It’s for the audience to decide if they feel like watching wizards and in the case of you and your friend I say wizard approved.

Been around since Dec 2010 on STO and bought LTS in Apr 2013 for STO.

I agree. I could find it interesting, if they fought solely with science shananigans and without weapons
However, i like them promoting the idea of tanking for someone else.
As for the run itself, it was our second attempt at the deed and it was certainly a lot of fun. Sadly lag was never far away (is it ever?) and there were a lot of ability activation issues in both runs.
Hopefully we'll get a shot at a moderately "smooth" run at some point. I think that with no lag, a "good" Tholian spawn for Eli's GWell and a bit of luck, a sub-1min run should be doable. We shall see.
Yes, I would say that Elites are long overdue. CCE, ISE, CSE, KSE, etc... They are badly needed.

I knew using Kinetics would be playing the game on hard mode, but what I didn't realize was how bad the deck is stacked against Kinetics.
Can't take points for originality though, since there are several 2-man CCAs in the past. There has been at least 1 solo CCA last year (by Vel).

That's how Florian and I have been flying the past few months. When we fly our mains he tanks for me, and when we're on our alts, I tank for him. It's pretty fun and makes interesting PUG runs for both of us.
At this point, we're more interested in Atks-In numbers and heal-outs than DPS.

I farm this mission for easy Nukara marks and of course Radiogenic Mats and dil. i'd rather pull 156 marks from my daily run than the 132 i'd get because the CE was beat to quickly.
Agreed, and add to that mechanics fixes and major bug fixes.

It's a logic check fail. The Optional Conditions must be met first prior to the Entity being destroyed. The way the check is made now, the Entity must be alive to execute two blast waves before being defeated, and the players must make a check for survival against the blast waves. If the Entity cannot execute the blast waves, the checks cannot be made, and therefore, the optionals have not been met.
This is something that's been stated for about 2yrs.

Thats something i wasn't aware of thank you.
Also we need to be careful in what we wish regarding a harder or elite version of this PvE (which is needed btw) as Cryptic have a habit of removing single PvE's under the condition of being revamped never to be hear from again for many many months or never again. Rather than revamping the mission on Tribble for example, then replacing/updating the Holodeck version.
