Salami's TOS skin tweet explained

Ok so I know I'm retreading some ground from other threads, but so many people are misunderstanding this I want to try to clarify this for those confused. First, this is the tweet in question:

Now, some people are MISunderstanding this and applying it to the constitution class. However(unfortunately), that has nothing to do with that he said. He is talking about the ships in this pack:

If you will notice, they are releasing several new TOS ships, and also making T6 versions of them. Note that there is *NOT* a T6 version of the connie listed.

Now, Salami said in his tweet that if you own a TOS ship AND(key word) it's T6 version, that you can use the TOS skin on the T6 version. Yes, you have to own *BOTH* the TOS ship *AND* it's T6 version for his statement to apply. And again, there is *NO* T6 version of the connie on that product page. Maybe they will announce one, maybe they want. Either way, as it stands right now, his tweet above has *NOTHING* to do with the connie for the reasons just explained.

I'm not trying to rain on anyone's parade, but the facts are the facts until we get new ones.

    One thing you miss Nagus, and something that I have a tad bit of hope for. If you watch the trailer and you get a REALLY good look at the Enterprise, it's not the same as the T1 Constitution we have. It's almost a completely different ship with the markings, updated looks etc. Might just be hope for a T5 or 6 Constitution after all, but maybe not named the Constitution class? Maybe named Enterprise class?

    I hope so too, but that still has nothing to do with Salami's tweet or anything I just said above. IF they announce a T6 connie, THEN that will relate to his tweet. But until such an announcement, what he said has nothing to do with a connie.

    The Connie seen in the teaser trailer is just a visual revamp of the Connie we have, like what they did with the Intrepid, Galaxy, Defiant, Akira, etc.

    If you look at the preview for the new mega bundle that comes with this expansion you'll see that the Connie there is T1 just like the one we have now, just with a visual upgrade. We could get a T6 version, but as of right now the new look doesn't mean a new ship is imminent.

    Now, does this equate to a T6 version? I don't know, but it is a brand new model.

    I wish they had released the Saladin, Hermes, Federation classes, and the TOS rendition of the Miranda that has been everywhere. Its a shame that the Daedelus is a higher level than the Connie as well but oh well.
