Blank map- Floor isn't transparent? :(

I haven't been around the foundry much for a while, so when I signed in on a whim today, I was really excited to learn that a blank foundry map created!
Then I realized- the floor may look like a transparent pannel in the map editor, but when the map is loaded, it is quite visible. There go my plans to make a mission inside a glass-floored star base, with ships visible beneath you . :(

What I'm trying to say is thank you very much, Cryptic, for the blank map- but if you could make the floor invisible, it'd be a lot more versatile and wonderful!

Well, if i wanted to build a glass floored starbase i would probably use one of the interior maps, such as old ESD or one with more black space and a smaller area of cryptic building on it (would need to try out different maps) or even build UNDER the cryptic part of an interior map if one is deep enough. Plus, if it is a starbase you might actually be able to use an old ESD map, build in the corner away from the interior, and use any visible parts through your glass floor as your starbase.

I know. I've been using similar hacks since the Foundry was launched. What I'm commenting is that a tiny change to one map could add so much functionality.
