Star Trek TMP Klingon hairstyle

I really liked the look, hairstyle of the Klingons aboard the IKS Amar in Star Trek - TMP. Would be great if they added that hairstyle into the game. Has any explanation ever been given as far as why they all had that hairstyle aboard that ship and later on they all had long hair? Is that the Klingon equivalent of a "high and tight?"

Didn't the art department say at one point they were going to give Klingons a visual tailor update? Including new hairstyles and ridges for the male and female.

Here is the link. Not sure if they implemented it. Npcs look more less the same, apart from Worf and a few. And I hanvn't come across any sheathed dagger belt. But I'd love to see more Klingon content. So I fully support it.

I don't understand, don't we have TMP connie refit in the game, or the Fed TMP uniform?

I would also like their Cranial ridges, sort of like their spines extended over their head down their foreheads.

TBH, TMP Klingons were my favorite Klingons, the ship, their personal look, everything.

That's not true, STO can use anything from the shows and prime universe movies. They could include the costumes from TMP for Klingons, they have the ships and uniforms for the feds in the game as well.

What's true is however that it's unlikely we'll see any meaningful Klingon content in the near future.

A Klingon character revamp is indeed in the works

However it's development is at the far end of the schedule, it's even likely that @crypticjoejing works on it by themselves in their own time (maybe joejing can comment on that?)

I already spotted some cool new klingon/romulan npc stuff (ships, clothes, weapons, etc.) on tribble and I doubt, that they will remain just for NPCs *^^*

Cryptic has paid for the rights to use ANYTHING They want from ALL the TV shows and ALL the movies up to Nemesis.
(and possibly from Trek-2017, if all goes well with Their latest discussions with CBS about it, according to Gecko)

Defiantly would like to see more Cranial ridges. The female ones like @crypticjoejing said are too cone shaped. The ridges don't stand out from the forehead, they look too flat. Like drawn faint lines rather than bone foreheads.

Proably is a long shot, but I'd like to see lot more patterns of them from both the TV show and other games.

Some things you can already see here (you have to scroll down a bit)..

for example:
-a new klingon ship (D9 Battlecruiser) - there's also a D5 Raptor, but it's not on any of my screenshots yet
-2 Gorn ships (Makar Frigate and a Ddraig Cruiser)
-Klingon TOS uniforms (male and female)
-New Klingon Disruptor Rifle
-Romulan D7 (Khenn Cruiser)
-Also not on the screenshots yet: new klingon space weapons such as red disruptors

After taking a look in-game I think the ridges look much better depending on the light. But I certainly like to see more options. Maybe a few more detailed shapes would go a long way in giving more diversity. I am sure @crypticjoejing extremely busy though and I hope some of his work makes it to live game at some point in the future. It looks good and is much appreciated.

Can't say I find the ridges on this particular Klingon very attractive....but oh, those piercings.
