Ship Appearence Package

Hi guys :)

If I remember correctly, a long time ago there were ships appearence package in the C-Store, but I can't find them anymore ... do you know what happened ?

I just seen the Ha'Feh Warbird with Kara parts and I'm really in love with it ... but to spend 3000 zen just to customize its appearence is a CRIME. I mean, if by buing the T6 Kara Warbird I would have a discount on the fleet modules required for the Ha'Feh it would be reasonable, but to spend 3000 zen for a ship I don't want its not fair :(

Also, do you know if there will be a T6 Ha'Feh ?
T5U is nice, but a T6 would have another BOFF slot ... and maybe some cool stuff : D

The extra ship skins in the C-store were removed when fleet ships were added to the game.

Well, you can get the fleet ship they're on in order to use them.

But other than buying the fleet ship to use said skin I don't think we'll be seeing ship appearance packages anytime soon.

So, you say that if I buy the Fleet Ha'Feh I get all the skins for the Ha'Feh Warbird ?
I want an Ha'Feh with Kara parts, but I don't like to WASTE 3000 zen to buy a ship i don't like ...

But if I can get what I want by buying the Fleet Ha'Feh, then its ok :)

No, that's not how it works. To get the Kara parts for your Ha'Feh you really do need to buy the Kara.
All those skins are only unlocked if you buy their respective ship like the "Imperial" Fleet Assault Cruiser or "Hephaestus" Fleet Advanced Escort, etc. Same goes for c-store ships only those are account wide instead of character only fleet ships.
Cosmetic wise all you get from the Fleet Ha'Feh is the fleet hull material.

No, the Fleet Ha'Feh will come with Ha'apax, Ha'nom and Ha'feh parts ONLY.

The Kara and Haakona parts won't be available unless you own them. I own the Kara (and its fleet variant) but cannot use any Haakona parts because I don't have that one.

Not all fleet ships come with new models. In fact, the vast majority doesn't.

I think you are mixing up two things that the others have said. The old skins available in the c-store are now part of the old T5 fleet ships, but as the Ha'Feh never had an alternate appearence like that, buying the fleet version would not get you anything new. Skins that come with a C-Store ship will only come with that ship. In fact, I'm pretty sure even if you buy a T6 fleet ship but don't have the c-store version, you only get the original skin and not the T6. In other words for the Kara parts on any version, you have to buy the Kara just like you have to buy the Haakona to use its parts. Sorry OP, but that's unlikely to change. You could wait for a ship sale though, or create a new toon to use the Kara in full along with then using the skin for your current one's Ha'Feh. I know that's not ideal, but it might make the cost a bit more worthwhile.

Edit: Ah nuts, double ninja'd. I really need to learn to type faster. :)

If you happen to have bought the old costumes before they were removed from the C-Store and added to the Fleet ships, you would be able to use them even if you don't own the Fleet version.

But for most people this isn't an option anymore. And of course, it really only applies to the ships had had a C-Store skin in the first place. All the newer ships didn't.

I just seen the T6 Kara Warbird and, I have to say, its really nice: built-in plasma spinal lance, 1 hangar bay, 4 tac consoles and a really nice BOFF layout.

Yeah, maybe I'll give it a try. However, I hope this situation to change: its a crime to force someone to spend 3000 zen just to get a skin !
