question, if you have a lvl 10 toon can you not unlock the teir 3 giveaway for use when you reach thhe lvl to use a teir 3 ship? as of now i can't claim it on my low lvl toon.
You need to be L20 to claim T3 ships... so you can grind away at the storyline for each faction till you hit L20.
The First Day was Two Spec Points for each Character, but it seems you did not unlock it as in the past for your Account if at least one Character claimed it. Each character had to get it the first day or it disappeared.
The Second Day was 12 Inventory Slots for each Character. I took no chances this time and obtained it on all my Characters.

Aww, man! I missed/forgot about Day 2! Arguably the best one. Seven toons at $4 each. A $28 value to me.
Already bought 2 of the 3 ships, and honestly, not much need for a L3 KDF ship.
Day 1 was nice, but nothing I'd not have had my doffs get me eventually.

Now, can someone explain to me why my Fed Align Rom does not have access to the T6 Fed ship I paid good money for? Okay, it's not THAT big a deal, but I thought it might enjoy having my Rom go toddling around the galaxy in a Tier 6 Resolute named USS Jerok or USS Tomalak.
I'm fine using my Samsar again...
...I just like that the Resolute lets me pop over to where ever I need to.

It is true that we need one character - per faction - of minimum level to use the starships anytime they are gifted in this way. Though these are only Tier 3 (Commander Rank). Obtaining that rank usually doesn't take that long. Although, I acknowledge that player's are limited by their own window of playtime. So mileage does vary on that point.

Notice how the thread has been around since the 11th, along with several posts inside it. If you'd paid attention, you'd also have noticed it in the launcher's news section (yes, I do know this for a fact, I've seen it myself).
Finally, there's still some time left to claim the T3 ships, so evidently your unwillingness to pay attention (please leave this European out of your rant, thank you very much) did not completely stop you from benefitting from the giveaway.
Infinite possibilities have implications that could not be completely understood if you turned this entire universe into a giant supercomputer.

Um... the announcement is dated "April 11" It's just being updated with every new giveaway, so it says "13" because it was updated that day. The announcement itself is up since April 11, though. It's entirely your faul for missing it.

The only thing that could work in your favour is e-mail notifications of events usually reach EU customers late but that's something you'd have to tell your local support. The website and forum as well as the launcher are pretty much always accurate.

I have no idea what other things there were, but that extra invetory would be reaaly nice though.
Now there is this "Thunderchild" ship, but it won't let me claim it, the button is grey and it says
"Your character cannot use this item". Why is that ? Because my characters low level ?
It did not mind that with those previous ships.

The previous giveaway weren't actual ships but cards for the Admiralty minigame. These are actual playable starships you claim from the store and for that to work you need a character of the appropriate faction (each one gets a ship) and the minimum level requirement to play the ship (level 20 in this case). That is a redundant requirement I give you that since they can put ships in boxes that you don't hae to open immedeatly but never the less the requirement still exists.

Roms can only get their aligned allies ships up through T4.

To buy something from the store you have to be able to use it, so the store will not let you buy something which you cannot use if you are wrong faction, have no ship slots or sometimes no room in item inventory. This is not so much of a problem anymore as they did just give us free invetory slots and also gave us dry dock slots to park ships in temporarily while we do things like claim freebies.
Once a character has claimed the ship any other character who can normally use the ship can claim it whenever they like so long as they can use it when they try to claim it, ie has free inventory space etc as above.
So, and WHY is cryptic telling us EU customers this SO LATE?

However, what really grinds my gears are those who spend more time asking what the giveaway is in zone and waiting for an answer than it actually does clicking the link and reading it!

It was there yesterday, they dont duplicate news posts so they repost it each day having deleted the previous one. The same thing would have been at the top of the launcher just with a different date.

No, you apparently *are* going blind . Just like with the last giveaway, they removed the 4-11 post and replaced it with 4-12 and then 4-13 posts. The post WAS there on 4-11.

People have said it a million times, and they'll say it another million times: The date's incorrect because it displays the last time it was edited/reposted/whatever-you-want-to-call-it. Your 'proof' doesn't prove anything, and even if it did, the launcher is not the only place you can go to get the news.
Infinite possibilities have implications that could not be completely understood if you turned this entire universe into a giant supercomputer.

Romulans can't use allies T5 ot T6 ships.
