We're pleased to announce that Season 11.5, one of our largest mid-season updates in the history of Star Trek Online is now live! Nearly a year ago, the Alliance began to investigate the possibilities of using time travel as a tool to change the past in order to save the future. With the successful construction and deployment of the Annorax-class Science Dreadnought, the first steps were made into a new future of exploration and conflict mitigation.

Cons: I don't like being given duplicates of garbage in my overflow bag. If it's in my bank already, I probably don't need it in my main inventory. Especially when they're Unique items that I'm only supposed to have 1 of already, so I literally have no other choice but to delete them. This goes double for items that I have to type "Delete" in a box because Cryptic thinks that I'm absolutely crazy for wanting to delete a duplicate of a non-combat pet that I'm only supposed to have 1 of already.
Addendum: I like having 2 Paradox Correctors.
I did try a new Red Alert, and I must say that adding a queue to these was a good improvement. In the Borg or edit: Tholian red alerts, there's often the risk of too many players shooting stuff and killing everything, resulting in many points for a few powerful players, and almost nothing for those who are not fast enough or happen to arrive a bit later.
The new system seems better in that regard, at least as long as there are enough players participating.
One of my characters actually had 27 items duped.
My character Tsin'xing
This temporal story arc is more immersive than I originally thought, and it stays true to the quality in Enterprise by making me equally nauseous.
the skill system has completely messed up the skill tray and you spend minutes putting your old skills back into the slots, both ground and space.
the mission felt like half of it was missing, as if it was cut in two, there is usually some form of resolution or understanding, but it felt like it was half completed.
the optional objective to keep additional na'khul ships from entering the portal is more or less impossible to complete depending how the fight goes, my one ship was quickly overwhelmed by 7 ships, 2 of them dreadies, a raider and 4 cruisers looking to make it across. plus the station as a target as well as additionally reinforcements.
i do not like that vosk only had a bit part in the whole thing and his purpose was never properly explained in the game regardless of the backstory provided by the cryptic writers.
i do not like the copy and paste vaadwuar tech soldier shield mechanic thats pasted on to the na'khul as illusionary images of an npc that projects a shield. would of thought there would of been something a bit more imaginative for ground forces to use.
i will however keep an eye on it, but so far the impression has been less than impressive.
Been around since Dec 2010 on STO and bought LTS in Apr 2013 for STO.

The only thing (@ the moment) that I can't wrap my head around, are the duplicate items I found in my overflow bag O.o
Bridge officers, pets, winter event frosted boots, phoenix non-combat pet, even a shard of possibilities & ophidian cane, Jem'hadar nanoenergy cell recipes (blank item icon there), all the way to the Data Recorder with Ambassador Spock's narration (\\//_ ).
I'm guessing they're somehow related to this:
-
"To boldly go to the stars on the wings of the faithful."
I think our overflow bags were near a quantum fissure as a result of the Na'Khul.
