Just putting it out there...
Hoping for a Mirror version for the T4 Tactical Escort, with
[Agony Quad Phaser Cannons ∞], upgradeable ofcoarse
The first
Belfast was commanded by Captain Ve'Kal Shon until its destruction in 2409. A new ship was commissioned bearing the same name and registry as special dispensation to then newly promoted Captain Edward XIII for his pivotal role during the renewed Dominion War.

I like the idea, but i doubt we will see a Mirror Defiant with an unique weapon on it.
First there is the fact that it is a mirror version which so far have never wielded any consoles or special weapons.
Then there is the fact that it is Tier 4 (4.5 is the official designation if i recall correctly) in an era in which Tier 6 is the new standard.
With any luck we may see a mirror defiant without the weapon and get the opportunity to grab the weapon in something like a featured episode OR as a reward in the next inevitable mirror invasion event.
I support this request!
They should have left the Tholian ships out of it. They could have made two Mirror multi-faction ship packs as the prizes.
Missed opportunity.
The Mirror Guardian was a weird non-box release. I think there's precedent there. Though I'd welcome another crack at the Mirror Guardian too .
I just think they shouldn't have been released in this box.
And a T6 Andorian. And add the Light Escort to the C-Store.
Its hilarious CBS' excuse for not making a T6 Connie. Cause its outdated and ancient. And yet the Kumari and the D'Kyr are WAY older than that ship and are still used endgame albeit [T5-U], lol

(5 edits... I quit...)
It's my understanding that A ) we've never actually heard from CBS, only a Cryptic person summarizing all of the back and forth dealings by saying CBS had said "no" and B ) there was absolutely never any explanation why "no". Because frankly those negotiations aren't any of our business.
The 'it's outdated' explanation is something made up by players trying to understand it, and as you say, doesn't actually make ANY sense in light of other old ships that have been steadily updated.
Given that the Constitution wasn't even supposed to be in the game, and the timing of STO's development vs. the JJ movies being a real thing worth vastly more money than STO on its best day ever, my theory is the restriction is to keep STO's endgame away from ship designs that could draw attention away from the JJEnterprise and the other games out there using that imagery who have agreements with Paramount.
My theory is also that once ST: Beyond has had its theatrical run and gone to home video, we may see some loosening of those restrictions and/or some additional elements of the JJVerse get ported over to STO since this is where the ongoing visibility (and thus money) will be with no more upcoming movies promoting that branch of the franchise.
Lets see where we are this time next year .
If the JJ cr@ptasticverse enters STO... *hangs up Captain's coat*

It's ALREADY IN GAME. This setting is ENTIRELY BUILT ON JJVERSE elements. Go fly out to the Hobus supernova remnant and look at it for a while. Maybe re-read the path to 2409, Volume 8 while you're puttering around out there. Then wave to all the Romulans trying to decide what sort of future they want after Romulus gets smeared.
Star Trek Online takes place in what among Star Trek fans is called the "Prime Universe". This is the story continuity, which includes the events of all the Star Trek television series. The events of the so-called "Alternate Universe" (as depicted in the 2009 Star Trek film) are part a separate timeline and do not affect the events of the game.

Sorry, lol.

As seen here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Star_Trek:_Countdown
Plus: Red Matter Capacitor, a device using Red Matter which is only mentioned in the 09 movie.
Believe it or not, STO has quite a bit of JJTrek content already in-game, such as Romulus getting blown up and stuff. It doesn't have JJprise or the events actually in the movie, because those events do occur in the JJverse.
But Romulus blown up? Romulus System (which is near Nimbus). Go there, and warp into the system. It's like Wolf 359 in that there's nothing to do as Romulus is just rubble.
Narada getting Borg tech (as in comic)? Prime Universe.
Edit: if you'll look here: http://sto.gamepedia.com/24th_Century#2400
It says "Ambassadors Spock and Jean-Luc Picard appeal to the Vulcan Science Academy to assist the Romulans with the Hobus supernova. The Vulcans refuse."
Later: "The Hobus star goes supernova, destroying Romulus, Remus and several other Romulan worlds."
These events are all described in the path to 2409 I believe.
It seems we are both right in our siting information. In which case its Cryptic/PWE that has some explaining to do xD
