Splitting up teams during map change

On some recent foundry missions I have been doing with groups, when my group moves from one map to another, it generates more than on instance of the next map and plunks my team mates into these different instances, so.... we are all doing the second (or third or forth) map of the mission alone.

Is this a known issue and is there a workaround for it?
