C-store Give away [Promotional Duty Officer - Borg Warfare Specialist]

So I got this box today from the c-store as per the giveaway. I clicked on it from my inventory and didn't realize my doffs were all full up, so it put it in my overflow bag. I went to my doff roster but didn't see a list of my doffs so I logged all the way out of the game and back in.

I was then able to see a list of my doffs, I dismissed one to make room for the new doff. I went to my inventory and my overflow bag button was gone. I reclaimed the [Promotional Duty Officer - Borg Warfare Specialist] but when I clicked on it I got this message:

[Inventory] You may only have one of a unique item.

I double checked my duty officer roster but I did not have the promo doff there. I claimed a Yellowstone runabout and got my overflow button back. When I clicked on it just the Yellowstone pet was in there NOT the doff.

It seems to be missing and for some reason the game thinks I have it.

    I had a similar issue (but never had an overflow button) where I possibly tried to claim with a full inventory, then also a full roster, and clearing both still get told I can't have more than one and that I have a full roster.

    Hello,

    Thank you for the information you provided. The developers are already aware of the issue some players are experiencing with the unique items in game. In this case, we recommend that you keep the duty officer pack in your inventory until the issue has been fixed.

    With that said, please visit the forums and news website regularly for updates on this matter.

    well it took a few days but finally was able yo open the box again and get the doff again

    The issue will be fixed with today's patch. You should get a replacement after maintenance (see maintenance announcement)​​

    Im still not able to claim the DoFF, I have space, and he's not on my roster.. Dunno where the overflow bag would be, but I've since logged in and out since claiming him day 1.

    I have had this on two of my characters since the day it was offered, but could not open it because I got the message,

    I have room with both characters but it won't open.

    Since I have started the yesterdays agent, I claimed it with this character too & have plenty of room, but it still won't open giving the same message? I think this is a major problem that needs a fix, as usual, so I'm not surprised at Cryptics ineptness but it is getting very tiresome & boring that they can never not TRIBBLE up something, :(
