I am talking about world changing type rich, so much money you could never spend it all in 10 life times.

So really what would you do 1st, knowing your now part of the .1% of the very rich?

Then after your did that 1st thing, how would you live your life going forward?

Tough question. Possible fear the mafia will be in contact with me because their tech guy accidently put all the money in the wrong bank account.

Would give £1 million to each and every friend and family member in addition to buying houses for them all.

The rest of my life I would spend helping people and animals on a case by case basis (from destitute to 'just needing a bit of help).

I've never been too bothered about luxuries myself so I doubt my lifestyle would change that much. Not interested in 6 month long holidays or fast cars - just having enough money not to have to worry about bills would be nice.

Walk to the bank, set up a trust fund for charity, set up account for college of family.
Set myself up for an allowance of 15k a year and continue to day to day job.

Maybe a few small things like replacing my 15 year old car which is starting to show signs of its age, pay off the mortgage and upgrade my PC.

This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.

If I became rich. First I would put away money for kids college fund. Then buy my own land and own an apartment to rent out to others. Aftwards the majority of money would be donated to charity

I'd buy what I need then give the rest to somebody who could more fairly distribute it. I'm not really all that interested in 'stuff'. I'd probably only get a house (which currently looks impossible unless somebody was to just give me money) and maybe a car that wasn't 15 years old (maybe one of those new fangled electric ones).

Norway and Yeager dammit... I still want my Typhoon and Jupiter though.
JJ Trek The Kelvin Timeline is just Trek and it's fully canon... get over it. But I still prefer TAR.

use the money to get myself into space, build a self sustaining building on mars with a nice window view that overlooks mars and you can see earth and the moon, an observation deck with a very powerful telescope, plus a place to sit and watch the stars.

another area, a hydroponics garden that provides oxygen to an oxygen nitrogen atmosphere, removes co2 and privdes fruit and veg in addition to typical plant life. a nice contained gardenarea, several hundred yards wide, a few trees, grass, a fence or two, a solid bench and a wooden pick nick table. simulated wind, simulated sun and heat, simulated clouds. as if you had a tiny area of earth.

the main building has a nice large kitchen, everything you could want, including refrigeration and an electric cooker, ventilation on the ceiling that pumps the air to the filters that extracts the heat and allows the air to keep going. solar panels on the top of the building, lots of solar energy all year round including 2 large reserve additions to the building.

have a satellite connection from earth all the time, so i can watch international tv whenever i choose, play games on the internet with unlimited bandwidth.

a first generation transporter so i can get groceries from home, have everything i cant use to go back to be recycled or destroyed.

the whole thing is designed with simplicity in mind.

thats what i want, to get away from earth and everyone. die happily on mars in my home.
    T6 Miranda Hero Ship FTW.
Been around since Dec 2010 on STO and bought LTS in Apr 2013 for STO.

I'd either buy or create a game studio and push out the kinds of games I actually want to play, the first one being a turn based ATB style RPG with modern graphics and production values. IMHO the idea that such games can no longer make money on consoles is ludicrous, imo the reason sales for these games declined is that they were severely lacking in the single most important aspect of an RPG, STORY. That or, in the case of games made by someone other than square, they simply were not marketed well enough.

I have exactly zero interest in playing action RPGs, and am deeply saddened that my all time favorite video game genre has essentially been abandoned by developers. I want strategy, not mindless button mashing, and I'm not alone, so if I came into the kind of money your talking about this would be my first big project (outside of buidling a house, getting a new car, etc).

    Get a lawyer.

More money really does lead to more problems and I want to be ready.

I'd pay down my countries debt, then id build a Utopian city it would run on wind and solar energy every building would have its own tesla home battery. The city would be built with stae of the art technology and downtown, residential, business, transportation, long term growth, and parking would all be carefully planned out and it would serve as an example to the rest of the world of a better way to live. And while its being built ill set up and application system for to fill it with people theyd all have jobs and a house waiting for them and it would be free. Basically id change the world one piece at a time by inspiring change start with a city then a province/state then the country if all goes well we end up leading by example. Course people may decide they don't want a better life, in which case TRIBBLE em ill change the lives of friends loved ones and buy myself a state of the art island with everything i could want or need an d live the rest of my days out on it.

Fund massive work on (easily) getting people into space and back again, living in space and all their prerequisites.

If i became super rich, i'd 1st and foremost sort out family and friends so they never have to worry about finances again. Then look to repurchase and rebuild my Transformers G1 Collection (These were reissues my originals aren't worth anything as they were very well played with) which i had to sell off a few years back due to finances.
Then i'd see talk to Paramount and CBS about making a New Star Trek game, it would be a sequel to the old Microprose game Birth of Federation, but on an Epic scale with no turn 50 bug :)

My honest answer: I would buy Cryptic Studios and take it private. Then i would increase the funding and number of developers significantly and give certain useless fatcats the boot.

    And give @pwlaughingtrendy a massive raise. ;)

If I became super-world rich, I'd keep it to myself as possible (good luck on that, right?), but take care of my immediate family. Take care of my sister's debts, ensure she and my mother have nothing to worry about money wise and are set.

Past them, I have serious misgivings about others, including family past my immediate ones. Most never bothered with me before and if they knew I had that kind of money, how extended family and supposed friends all the sudden come out of the wood works. Hell, I have family in "the old country" trying to get me to sign off on things back home right now, family who I haven't talked to since I was a little kid over there. Imagine if they found out I had huge amounts of money?

Anyways, I'd also get myself a lawyer and find out things I can do with that kind of money. Carefully. I honestly would not know what I would completely do with that kind of money right now, but I know to be wary of other people.

Well for the start I'll ensure the life of my parents and friends so that they never have to bother with financial problems anymore.
Next I'll take care of myself and buy/build a big house (castle like) somewhere in California next to pacific ocean with big garage for various muscle/sport cars I would collect and drive. It would also have the dock for medium sized yacht and small airstrip for my private jet and helicopter.
After that I'll get to CBS/Paramount and buy off Star Trek franchise and fire current movie producers while at the same time making sure Abramsverse will be forgotten so that prime universe could return unchanged. Along with that I would setup my own studio and do movies/shows based on stuff I would like to see more of and fix some other things as well (for example ruined Resident Evil movies, Doom movie...).
I would also create special building for convention (shaped like Enterprise E) in several major cities (New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Las Vegas, Miami, Paris, London, Berlin, Tokyo, Seoul...) and my birthplace as well (Zagreb). That wouldn't be just another expense, but a way to ensure the money keeps coming.

The rest of the money I would invest in my own space program and other part I would donate to people who have financial problems and need help.

First I would throw a HUGE party! Then I would gift my family whatever money they needed to live comfortably. Then I would buy 1000 acres of land in a Midwestern state, maybe Colorado, or Nebraska, or Wyoming, one of those lightly populated states. I would build a modest house, nothing super fancy, but nice. Id get my pilots license and buy a nice helicopter to hop around my land with,, then I would buy a midsized jet to travel the country in. Once all that was complete, I would start an investment company, but not some wall street moraless BS company. The company would specifically invest in small startups centered around new technology to make the world better, not some new APP for the latest dumbphone, but the type of tech that would help people in developing countries enter the modern world.
Eventually, if all went well I would run for political office and hopefully work my way up to Emperor of Earth--- ow wait,, wasn't supposed to type out that part...
One last thing I would do is crash every billionaires party I was invited too by bringing my " low brow" friends with me and making sure all the stuffy rich frackers new what I REALLY thought of them.
    I think that's about it...
