I used to enjoy listening to the Show. It has inspired me to pay more attention to my build, including to actually use a combat parser. Normally, I would just learn the STF's mechanics and hope that the others do too, but since the DPS race became a thing, I started to look into making my ship more useful. However, lately, the more negative aspect of the show has been a put off for me. Much in the same way that too much I love Cryptic on another show does the same. It is not just negative against what the Developers have been implementing (which is very valid), it is the saltiness towards the lower end of the DPS-output players. In one case, tey were outright being mocked. I am sorry to say that I have unsubscribed to the Show itself. I do enjoy the ship reviews, ZE Films, and the other guides.

In what way(s) were the "lower end of the DPS-output players" being mocked?
EDIT: I also want to state that any critique of the "Devs" as an entire entity, whether positive or negative, is due to something that they've done. In some cases, we're echoing the concerns/gripes/issues that the players have (this one will be discussed this Wednesday). In some cases, we take the lead in dealing with issues, INCLUDING calling out the high DPS players for whining about the changes to plasma consoles (an easy one to reference), calling out players whining about complaining about certain rewards, and shining a light on the queues not rewarding enough for the content, or lack of content appropriate for the level of power and play made available to the players, etc.
In doing these critiques, we do not make ourselves immune to critiques as well, and we've read some of them on the air, or answer them directly on the forums. No nonsense, no spin, no bull, because there's no point to do that.
The SHOW isn't the answer for everything STO-related, which is why we also shine the spotlight on other entities when they do something, so that other players who are interested in their work can go there; we want to be a part of the solution. When external entities send us something for us to look at and/or broadcast, we do it, because it helps the overall community grow. Even when we feel " disenfranchised ", burned out, or demotivated by other factors, we still do it because we are passionate about this community and helping people out.

I knew using Kinetics would be playing the game on hard mode, but what I didn't realize was how bad the deck is stacked against Kinetics.
