Tribble Tailor Issues

edited March 2016 in Tribble - Bug Reports
All Pulldown Menus

Bug:

Cannot click outside of a menu to close it.

Description:

On Holodeck, you can close any pulldown menu by clicking outside of it. This will close the menu and revert the selection to whatever it previously was. On Tribble, this is not possible, so you must select an option to close the menu. This is inconvenient when previewing different outfit pieces.

Addendum: You can also select more categories while a menu is still open as a result of this bug. Doing so will result in having to select options from each category you clicked after selecting something in the open menu.

Height Slider

Bug:

Cannot use height slider

Description:

The height slider is non-functional on Tribble. Clicking the character's height will show the slider, but attempting to change it will simply close the pop up. Unlike the pulldown menus, clicking anywhere on the screen will close the height slider window.

I reported this not long ago. It seems like a minor problem, so hopefully it'll be fixed soon

See, mine doesn't even save the outfit changes, so at least yours is pretending to behave.

Do you mean that when you exit the costume editor your outfit doesn't change, or it doesn't save previous outfits when you hit "Save Outfit"? I actually had the latter problem for quite some time, and had assumed it was a problem with the application on my end (happened right after I reinstalled), but the problem seems to have been resolved.

Saving outfits requires you to have a Screenshots folder in the Live/Playtest/Beta folder of your STO install. It seems like it doesn't always get auto created (which has been reported before).

Not sure if it made it into this Tribble build, but all of the tailor pulldown menus should be fixed when the patch goes live. Thanks for the report!
Today is a good day to fix bugs.
