Flooded with Saurian's

The amount of Duty officer assignments i am getting that result in Saurian bridge officers has gone from an occassional laugh to a tidal wave of "Oh various gods and Q help me"

Easily had a 2 dozen different one's within the last week and a half. What am i queen of the lizard people?


Is this normal or should i see the ships counsellor?

    I hardly ever seen Saurians...I think I've gotten maybe three since I started playing STO.....before it went f2p.

    are they the right saurians? if they don't have the efficient trait, they become training fodder on my ship

    I see Saurians occasionally. The ones I have yet to see a mission for are Packled and Fed/Klingon.

    It's funny in real life I'm a lizard trapped in a humans body. They haven't perfected transracial surgery yet...

    I get them occasionally.. Sounds like maybe you're exaggerating a bit ? Yeah ?
    if they are purple and have efficient trait, ill sell them.
    If they don't, they usually get turned into manuals and either used where needed or sold.
    Not sure what your issue is OP...You don't like free EC ?
    Some Training Manuals sell for a small fortune.
    You can go ahead and mail me your unwanted Saurians. Ill make good use of them :mrgreen:

    Even if they have "Efficient" trait, which got nerfed into TRIBBLE by Cryptic several years ago, Saurians and the KDF's Letheans are pretty worthless. The original version of Efficient was a flat bonus to all subsystem power no matter what. But that got changed into the useless version we have now, which is even made worse with the extra means of getting more power.

    I still use them over humans on my Fed Alts.
    Naussican and Heirachy Boffs not withstanding.

    I use 2 Humans, 1 Saurian, 1 Talaxian, and one Potato.

    I'm pretty sure all Saurians have the Efficiency Trait. Not that it can beat SRO, but still.

    Cool. Good to know. Even with Efficiency Trait, I just trash them on the spot (I just take the assignment for the Recruitment XP = free Fleet Marks). I have my trusted C-Store liberated Borg (4 of 6, was it?) Engineer for Efficiency, and SRO's otherwise (and the potato-head Science boff).

    FYI - In case people didn't know, you can get yourself a free FED Naussican Boff (with Pirate space trait) for completing Duty officer "Diplomacy" rank tier iv.

    You want fun... try getting a Romulan or (lmfao) Reman BOFF mission... they've been all but completely missing for ages now. So yeah, get used to imbalanced BOFF assignments...


    maybe the Iconians TRIBBLE the saurian world(s) and now they're enlisting in droves?

    Yeah, the last time I saw a Romulan / Reman Boff Mission was sometime towards the end of 2014. In 2015 I visited New Romulus nearly every single day for 5 months never saw another one. Shortly after that I took about a 6 month break from STO.


    Back to the topic, I have not seen many Saurian Boff missions on the Fed side since I have started to play STO again back in mid December 2014... go the Breen Dreadnought with one day to spare. However, on the KDF side, I have seen tons of Orion Boff missions many of them rewarded very rare female Orion Science Boffs. I easily made over 10 million EC selling Orion Science Boffs on the Exchange since my return. Female Orion Engineer and Tactical Boffs do not fetch as high a price on the Exchange compared to Female Science Boffs.
