Fleet Patrol Escort Refit and the Phaser quad cannon

can the maelstrom class fleet patrol escort refit equip the phaser quad cannons? the quantum warhead module will not equip to it.... im asking this question because i don't want to buy the sao paulo t4 ship that comes with the quad cannon and not be able to use it on my maelstrom

    The Quad Cannons can be equipped on any ship that can already equip dual cannons, so yeah, they can be equipped on the Maelstrom class.

    phew... thats a load of my mind, still why doesn't the quantum warhead module work... do i need to have a quantum torpedo? im using the gravimetric one from dyson rep atm

    The warhead module is limited to the T6 Defiant only. Thats usually the way it works - T5 and 6 consoles are limited to the ship they came on while T1-T4 consoles can be used on any ship

    idc about the cloak, i just want the quad cannon... the quantum warhead module sounded fun too but my console slots are filled anyhow

    Each console has in it's description exactly what ship types it can be equipped on if it's limited. Just right-click the item, then click on info.

    I have all patrol escorts variants (I think), but no quad cannons. :( Where are they from exactly? Thx.

    The Sao Paolo was the final prize in the anniversary giveaway a few weeks ago, fyi.
