None. The post of "Emperor" was merely a ceremonial title that was made only because of the clone. Since he's gone, it's really back to business as usual. Power rested with the Chancellor and the High Council. It never sat with the Emperor.
Kahless' death was symbolic I think. He wanted to kill an Iconian to satisfy his thirst for blood. Or an Iconian arm, not even sure they have blood...
Anyway, after Midnight it seemed clear that this bloodlust and warrior thing is something of the past for the Klingons. With the symoblic death of Kahless to represent this, he might well be the last emperor. They'll soon have a president anyway.
That link to the Wiki btw... it's lacking. No sources or anything are mentioned.
The next clone. It should't take long to grow the next, a few days possibly.
Norway and Yeager dammit... I still want my Typhoon and Jupiter though. JJ Trek The Kelvin Timeline is just Trek and it's fully canon... get over it. But I still prefer TAR.

Worf really is the kingmaker of the Empire though, he killed Duras giving Gowron rule, eventually, he appointed the clone Emperor, he killed Gowron and gave control to Martok. No wonder J'mpok has stepped carefully around him.
That's the power of being a protagonist. :P
Bipedal mammal and senior Foundry author.
Notable missions: Apex [AEI], Gemini [SSF], Trident [AEI], Evolution's Smile [SSF], Transcendence
Looking for something new to play? I've started building Foundry missions again in visual novel form!
Would seem silly to have a Empire run of clones. Most of the other options posted so far seem a bit silly and out of content. What will happen who steps up now that there has been the post of Emperor reopened?
. . . until <YOUR CAPTAIN> claims it. Mine does carry a bat'leth forged from the fires of the underworld by the hand of nuKahless the Monologger himself.
the klingons did fine before the clone appeared and I think they will do fine without him again.
indeed, the emperor title was just a formality in the empire until kahless was slain by the iconians. there will not be another, unless they want to clone dna from martok as a figurehead .
T6 Miranda Hero Ship FTW. Been around since Dec 2010 on STO and bought LTS in Apr 2013 for STO.
Brace for impact.....photon bitching torpedo incoming......* snaps tail *
Seriously, Khaless clone.......* sighs *.......really pissed me off far beyond my deep dark hatred of JJ Trek, finding a coin glued down on the street and pencils that break just after you sharpened them......yeah.....that's how moody am I.
What a drama llama. He wasn't even the original one, yet had to be center of attention. He had none of the original's wacky one liners, groves, moves or Sluggo Cola endorsements. But believed that he could prance around like Zoolander just because Professor Farnsworth let him out of his test tube for five seconds and forgot about him.
Well, good news, everybody, after my crew had located Khaless's Bat'lth, I had plans to stick it straight right up his general quarters with a quick twist for good measure. Buuut............those bloody Iconians beat me to it. Seems they hated him more, possibly due to his over acting and being a grad from The Shatner School Of Drama.
Sorry to the OP for the rant, but that Klingon wannabe drongo really pisses me off more then bank fee's or when that Cockatoo crapped on me from his tree.
We now return to your regular thread fight discussion. =3
What? The original Khaless has never been seen in canon, ever. Certainly not in that weird TOS episode where Kirk got basic facts of American history wildly wrong. Closest thing there is was a novel about Khaless's life which told us that pretty much everything the Klingons believe about him was wrong. In the novel he was a coward, only cared about himself, and he became the hero of the Klingon people through the actions of his friend, the "brother" Klingon history claims he killed for being a liar. In fact the novel says the blood the clone was made from was not even Khaless's blood to begin with but again it was the blood of his "brother".
True the only reference I had run across was in what is regarded as non canon thanks to TGG's TRIBBLE ups was in "The Final Reflection where it talks about the iron crown and things. TNG really messed up the Klingons IMHO they became kind of buffons. Glad that some of that was fixed in DS9. Really pissed me off that Picard was so involved in selecting the next leader.
That said can you post the novel's title your information came from?
as emperor ? no one i guess ......player never become Emperor , in this case cryptic propably keep TES-series rule , player is just hero , not politic / warlord
as next VIP death ? i hope this time someone from Federation , cryptic kill tons Klingons VIP's , one or two romulan .......for balance i demand third siege of Earth and wipe out at least 50% fed government

Yup, just like the Venture Brothers. One dies, there's a few extra in the basement lab!
Looks like someone "fixed" the page in the OP's link...
