TRIBBLE MAINTENANCE AND RELEASE NOTES - February 17, 2016

We will be bringing down the Tribble server for maintenance to apply a new update: ST.55.20160110c.33.

General:
  • T6 Odyssey Bundle:
    • Resolved an issue with the dual beam placement on Odyssey variants: they now fire from beam array on the saucer.
    • The fleet logo is no longer mirrored on the Odyssey saucer.
    • Long ship names are no longer slightly cut off on the edges on the Odyssey variants.
    • Added the Endeavour, Sojourner and Yorktown to the Foundry.
    • Renamed several Odyssey costumes in the Foundry to better reflect what they represent.
  • The Omni-Directional Chroniton Array now has sound effects when using Fire at Will.
  • XP Weekend has been replaced by Marks Weekend for 2/18 – 2/22.

Known Issues:
  • Selecting “Ready Starship” in the ship selector is not moving slotted items over to the ship for some players.
  • Changing the T5 Bortasqu’ with the T6 variants saucer & hull causes incorrect ship geo alignment.
  • There are numerous clipping issues with the Mirror Universe outfits as well as missing pip ranks.
  • The APU Cruiser, Malon Battlecruiser, and Kazon Raider Admiralty Ships display as Blue/Rare quality, when they should be Green/Uncommon.

    Prolly the Chronometric Polaron Omni.

Also, didn't we have a Bonus Marks weekend recently? I was looking forward to that XP weekend. >.>

Oh how I wish there was an Omni-Directional Chroniton Array to go with my Dual Beam Bank.

I'm not happy with this sudden change of events either. I had planned spending most of my weekend gaining spec points on my alts, now I might as well go do something else. :-/

The exp weekends are the best events now, marks are only useful for converting them into dil (even on alts since they're already maxed & geared) and we already had our dil boosted with the dil event last weekend.

Not everybody has maxed out their Reputation Trees yet.
So for some of us this is just as good as a XP Bonus event.

True, but I still feel like a kid who was promised a trip to Disneyland and then has to settle for a smaller theme park instead. I dare you to try that a day before the trip with kids, you'll never hear the end of it. :P

I maxed out specialization trees within a couple weeks of the Admiralty system going live. If they introduced a new specialization now, I'd be able to unlock the entire thing day one. With XP coming as easy as it does since Admiralty and temporal/mirror research assignments became a thing, XP weekends are utterly wasted save on new characters.

Conversely, rep projects are a much deeper sink, and even if I did have everything with multiples for my away team (I don't), there's always the consumables and dilithium.
