How do you re-register a ship (rename the registry number)?

I just bought the NX registry from the C-store, and I want to rename all my Federation ships (Constitution-class, Envoy-class, and a Support Cruiser). I'm also a Romulan player. When I go into the edit button next to the ship name on my ship selector screen or status screen (when I hit "U"), I don't see where I can change the registry number, only the name. Yet, it still says in the window "Re-register Cost: First rename is free". Can somebody please help? Thanks in advance.

    As a romulan i never had any federation ships, so im not sure if this is aceually true but here it goes

    I dont own any NCC renames to NX so im not sure if this is the correct spot, but hey its worth a look
    I went and bought one, it didnt cost a lot of zen, and yea, its under that menu, there is a pulldown button there

    Ok, i went ahead and bought a federation ship for my romulan, and i see what your problem is, you should bug report this and let cryptic know about it

    As there is no option to change the regeristy number on romulan allied toons with fed ships
    Heck, i made the screens, so i will put it into the bug report section

    Someone should put this as "NOT ANWSERED" as well its not anwsered and not helping the guy in the orginal post as its not doing what he wants it to do
