Quality of life suggestions

Shift toolbar visible.

"-" and "=" toolbar buttons (11 and 12).

"Wipe toolbar" slash command.

Global toolbar options. e.g. "assign Attack Pattern Alpha to 1,1" and "load toolbar globals" slash command.

"Playername" and "Accountname" columns in fleet and other social menus.

Exchange categories revamp.

Exchange table reorganization with categories as dropdowns in the top rather than the scrollbar-needing column on the left.

Free-move camera in character selection window.

Check with server to confirm character and officer appearance in character selection window.

Load actual ship shields, officer weapons, etc. in character selection window.

"Sort characters by" options besides date in character selection window.

Display character assets and other, more complete data in character selection window.

Character selection table reorganization as small buttons or a dropdown in the top rather than the scrollbar-needing column on the left.

"Time to next daily reward" in reputation window and/or in mission window.

Burn the item stats and skill tooltips to the ground, salt the ground beneath them, mix the salt-ash slurry with skunk spray and vulture poo, mind-wipe and flog anyone who contributed to the creation thereof, and start those over from scratch--preferably showing "base stats" and "realtime/modified stats" side-by-side. :)

My 2 zen. Thoughts (personal insults need not apply)? What else do you think we should see adjusted?

    True, but by how much? If I'm in a Breen Rezreth (RRW Dead Lobster or USS Grind 4 Trait or IKS Garbage Scow), I'm loading "Breen Rezreth Skin.pack of default textures". If I'm in a Breen Rezreth with a Romulan set, I'm loading "Breen Rezreth Skin.pack of Romulan Shield textures". (However the heck that works, hell if I know) and the only difference in resources AFAIK is the query of the server "which shield appearance" and "is it turned on" which is what, four possible modifying items ids which are client-side anyway, and yes/no? So eight tiny variables plus 5 weapon ids for the officers, which is dwarfed by the number of variables in even one character's costume I imagine.

    Buy Food/Drink with a slider.

    Buy Doffs from Fleet Vendors with a slider.

    File Commendation Reports through the Fleet UI. If I can contribute Torpedoes, Dilithium and Doffs, etc. through the UI, I should certainly be able to file a Report that way.

    In my fleet we refer to acquiring doffs for projects as "carpal-tunneling"; I can't believe I didn't think of that one, ltminns. :)

    I would like to replicate/vendor (trash) everything in my inventory with the usable interface. I am talking about tribbles and lockboxes. I have to manually remove them from my inventory.

    Even better would it be if I could flag items for vendoring, so I could make an easy clean sweep. There is too much clicking in this game. From a broader perspective, handling of supporting game mechanics take up more time than playing the game itself. Call it gameplay bureaucracy.

    I would like to see more valuable vendor junk drops, and fewer of them. I don't think I'm diagnosable with obssessive-compulsive disorder, but trying to clean all the loot spam out of the sky in between me and my enemies with one hand while I lay the disruptor beam smackdown with the other is practically like suffering from a partial confuse or placate effect. I just reflexively tidy things up while I put space boots to space butts.

    The reason they don't do that that is the two keys to the right of 0 aren't - or = on non-English keyboards.

    Less drops would be better, even no drops would be better with an EC payout coming in when combat is done. I have literally never received a drop that I ended up putting on my ship and have only received a handful of drops that were worth putting on the exchange. I started playing during the 3rd anniversary event so thats quite a lot of drops.

    I used to be like you and clean up the junk around. I don't even bother anymore. My reflexes hit pass on everything anymore and I ignore the "loot critter" buttons. For me, there is simply not enough value in the stuff vs the pain of cleaning my inventory. This is especially true after the great EC nerf from way back. Even before that the value of vendor trash was poor.

    I like an option to turn off auto-populate skills into the skill tray. That way you get a new ship, equip it, go into space, and don't have to empty the random jumbled skill tray.

    Personally, I'd like to see the Assignments for DOffing get 'Sort By' function - sort by length, sort by quality/rarity, sort by Chain (for those of us who have characters working on Assignment Chains, this would be nice since it would bring Chain Assignments to the top of the list), maybe even sort by reward if that would be possible...
