Am I lost 4000 Zen on Talaxian Boff purchasing????

Hi,

I bought a talaxian officer for 300 Lobi, I tried to use it, but I had one already. The limit is ok for me, but now I cannot sell it, nor use it.
I dropped out about 4000 Zen?
Please solve my problem somehow.

Which type of talaxian did you try to buy out of the one's that are available? Also when you mouse over the box does it say anything about being bound to your toon? Will help if able, just need a bit more info.

Thank you for the answer. So, It is an engineer officer. When I bought it , it was boxed. When I opened it, it said I may have only one from this item. (I didn't read it before) But the box's info says too, in case of I already have one, then the box cannot be unpacked. Against this, it is unpacked as a bridge officer what is not possible to join to my group and unsellable.
So, this is the story. Do you have any idea?

Welp, good news is I was able to confirm that it is a bug. Indeed as you said it's not supposed to have unpacked. Can you get me some screenshots of the one in your crew already and one showing the duplicate in your candidates window? This is so I can verify for the report that there is indeed a bug and the rest of the Bug Hunters can see it. For now hold onto him, don't try to discharge him or anything like that at all. I would encourage you to put in a ticket in game as well to see if perhaps the gms can't get that fixed for you about packing him up again or something along those lines. I'll be doing a bug report for you as well.

Do you have available slots for more Bridge officers? If you don't you would have to dismiss someone to make space for the new Talaxian.

The problem is that it wasn't supposed to allow the 2nd Talaxian Engineer to be looted from the box in the first place. The way it's supposed to work is you're allowed to have one of each of the Talaxian boffs per toon. You can purchase more of them from lobi which can be sold on the exchange or given to another toon. However if you try to do like the OP did and try to open a duplicate of one you already have, it's not supposed to unpack the box. in this case however it did when it wasn't supposed to.
