Hey guys here is a ship review of the new Jupiter class carrier.
This ship will also replace the Jupiter drednought npc's ingame.

How are you guys liking the ship so far? How do you feel about the looks?

    It's officially the ugliest ship in the game supassing even the Chimera and Odyssey...

    There is no possible way to describe the extent of its hideousness without getting a forum ban.

    Like the Odyssey it looks fantastic. A worthy redesign of the Jupiter Class. Now if we could get this for the Typhoon I'd be esatic.

    Norway and Yeager dammit... I still want my Typhoon and Jupiter though.
    JJ Trek The Kelvin Timeline is just Trek and it's fully canon... get over it. But I still prefer TAR.

    It's officially a meh ship.

    There's no possible way to describe the extent of how meh it is.

    It feels pretty "generic". There's nothing that makes it stand out as a carrier design-wise, compared to every other Starfleet cruiser.

    It's good enough Stat wise and the trait is interesting. Drop a tractor beam and watch them burn! Anyways, set up as a drain boat to support your pets or a particle generator torpedo boat like me and it shreds everything.

    Turns like a pregnant whale and looks like one too.

    I got it a couple of weeks ago... during the black Friday/cyber Monday sale.

    At first.. I was laughing so hard at how it lumbered through space... :smiley:

    But, it is rather growing on me... now that I'm starting to put upgraded gear on it.
    Using it in a crowd control capacity with GW3 and runabouts... paired with the calistos... add B:FAW seems to be doing OK and handling itself fairly well.

    Got one on release day because I had a cache of extra dilithium to burn.

    Flew it around a little the first day or two and now I barely use it. I like the way it looks, but the big selling factor for me was that it could launch Federation Frigates. Since it turned out that those sucked horribly, I put Swarmers on it. It's a lot better, but really doesn't hold my interest. I can launch Swarmers from my Presidio (one hangar) and it's an overall superior ship.

    So yes, it's very.. meh.

    This right here. I am loving its design, wich is one of the best looking ships in the game, along with the Oddysey. And the more I play with it the more I enjoy it. It became my favorite ship of this year.

    Kudos to STO team for this ship. They have all the reasons to be proud of it.

    Keep in mind it IS a science ship and if you try using it as anything other than that it will suck balls. Grab those new Krenim science consoles and some nice traits and load up on science skills.

    Its really nice looking for some, other seem it as ugly. For me just stunning!

    Ah so my fed science will excelled at this I may even create a second fed science gal down the road at some point.

    I am having a lot of fun with the Jupiter. One of my favorites! It's huge and looks very carrier-like. One of my guys is even trying a torpedo build with it and I haven't got anything less than 1st place in every Crystalline Catastrophe I've used the build in! Not even fully mastered.

    I have the fleet version running just about everything to maximise grav gens, with the same gear as my breen carrier. The only exception being the elite pets.
    Honestly I like it, the only thing I miss from my breen ship is the higher tac boff seating.
    I had to tone down my grav torp spread ability. Aside from that boy does she slide when going from full impulse to attack speed.
    I do not regret my purchase(s).
