2) the writer does NOT say the order of the list means anything or that the #1 is the best/their favorite. If you actually read the article, the writer says they don't even like Marvel Heroes, but it is listed at #3, suggesting the order is meaningless. It appears to simply be 10 F2P games the writer recommends.
3) the title of this thread says "voted", however this list has nothing to do with "votes". Did you actually read the article at all?

But he also continues to say that he actually thinks it's a good game, just not one he personally wants to play.

While this is a duplicate thread, I must say that this OP choose a better title. How many times have we seen threads with titles like "Congrats, Cryptic..." and the first post is "You finally succeeded in getting me to quit!"?
This thread title tells you what's inside the wrapper...

What does that have to do with my post?
It's possible the writer was ranking them based on how good he thought the game was rather than how much he liked playing them.

That's a fair opinion. However the OP of this thread is also claiming people "voted" on this list, which is false. It seems like the person who posted this thread did not actually read the article.

I'm not denying that possibility. I'm saying that the writer did NOT say that, like the OP assumes. The OP also thinks there was a vote, which is false.
I wonder how you can make a WoW clone with a space opera game...
You would be surprised what can be made.
You know, though, we all give Cryptic A LOT of garbage, and much of it is likely deserved, but you have to give it to them, they are some of the FEW decently sized companies who can made a non-wow clone game and MAKE IT WORK. And few companies give the ability to get cash shop stuff in game like Cryptic does with Neverwinter and STO. In both, you can get C-store stuff without paying a dime using in-game ways, few games can say that, even if it does take A LOT time to do so.

Actually a lot of games do that, and in some you can exchange in game currency for gametime/suscribe (Eve, Rift, WoW, Wilstar, etc...) without any limit but you can't in STO.
I am from Belgium and english isn't my main language, sorry if I make mistakes.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure that's stupidly expensive.... Actually, from what I've heard it's only going to happen in EVE if you get help from an established player. It takes time to grind to get the ability to grind ISK quickly enough... and this is assuming you don't get ganked for your ISK by another player.

not really, only ones i can think of are DDO and Lotro, and the only way to get them is through achievments and you get so little that it amounts to almost nothing. and the gametime stuff tends to be SUPER exspensive in those games, to the point only a few players could do it. In Sto and Neverwinter, you can be relatively casual and still get some.

I spent money for 3 months (let's say 45$) in EVE Online then never spent anymore. I don't know how much time I played but I have a 87m sp character. The prices have raised and I calculated that if I want to play my suscribe in EVE I have to spend around 1h30/ day farming L4, and that's why I stopped but still, it is easy to do if you have the time. In STO I must be around 2500$. So free to play... yes but the population that have the courage to do so in the game is like 1%.

It is very easy to do. Even in Lotro, you can unlock all the content with the achievements. There is a guide for that. But these gametimes may look extensives for a new players, but it isn't that much. Like all the players that have 10m dil.
Still doesn't change the fact that you can buy subscription on a lot of games even if you need to farm like a beast and you can't in STO.

Cryptic has 2 games on the list, Neverwinter, too.
1) there is already a thread about this:

Tactical Team sucked, once upon a time. I got it buffed. Don't think for a minute that Cryptic ignores forum feedback.
