Confusion About Rep Armor

Hello all. I just finished my first rep ground set, the Omega Force set to be exact. Once I finished the armor set, I received a prompt stating that I have unlocked more costume options at the tailor. Another project entitled Costume Unlock OMEGA Force Style 2 appeared on my rep window and required only 5 Omega marks. I completed that one as well and received a prompt that I have unlock another costume option at the tailor, but I still only have access to the basic variant of the Omega armor. Am I missing something here? I apologize if this is a simple issue, as I stated, I'm still new to this and I was really looking forward to that Harvester variant. Many thanks for any and all help.

There are I believe 2 for Omega, and 3 for Maco, however 1 of the Omega and Maco require specific accolades which are related to old elite missions, to be completed before they become available!

Ah, so then the ones that require old elite missions aren't currently available? If so, then what was the "type 2 Costume" project and what did it actually do? Thanks again for your help!

Sorry I can only help a bit here. Reason is I know my ways around maco stuff rather than omega.
    Maco is pretty straight forward:

Type 1 -> old MK11 maco costume. Same as mk12 just with pieces missing (helmet, shouldars, wrist).
    Type 2 -> MK12. Regular maco outfit available after getting 3 piece ground set;
Type 3 -> Maco Operational: Unlock after beating all STF optionals and unlocking mk12 ground set; (currently not available)
Type 4 -> Maco Striker: Unlock after getting 3 pice adapted maco outfit.

Now I know that back at the time the omega outfit started unlocking visuals at mk10 already with 11 and mk12 giving more unlocks for the same constume making it more complete. There is also one “called” harvester one was able to get for all the optinals (like maco type 3) but it’s currently unavailable and you can’t have it.

If you get a costume called omega type 2 in game now my guess is u simply have ensured to have all options of the standard mk12 omega visuals unlocked. Harvester remains not around.

    Here is the wiki file.

Like with maco there are also completely different visuals available but only in foundry with no means to get in game for playable characters.

Ah, that explains things nicely, thank you so very much! It is unfortunate about the Harvester and other sets though, I would really like to see those available. Have the devs commented on this before?

Me as well there. My delta recruit was made after the removal of old elite mode and the toon feels incomplete without the armor.

I’m afraid there are no current plans, at least to my knowledge, to reintegrate an elite mode of the classic borg STF.
So far I was under the impression that cryptic did not want to hand out elite rewards in missions which aren’t time gated. The admiralty system taught me better.

Elite would be very much appreciated by now cuz those maps would be a perfect playing ground for most of the player base. Not as hard as some other elite maps but challenging still. After achieving 10:02 minute left to spear on the IGA optional timer in a run with my fleet mates yesterday (No DPS chanels or anything) an elite mode would be very much appreciated indeed.

But I suppose it’s the same old story, you know. Cryptic feels about the old borg pve like a one hit wonder looser rock star who does not grasp why peeps want to play his single song and not the other ones.

Hint: They are not as good. ;)

It does seem to be a terrible waste of perfectly good content, especially considering that it already exists and simply needs to be reinstituted. It's not like we are asking for brand new stuff here...
