Polaron without Jem Hadar set?

I saw a thread, and now I can't find it. It was said that Jem Hadar set is one of the weakest, and another suggestion was offered as superior for Polaron users, I think it was something from a reputation set?

I know this is all very vague, but that's what happens when you browse forums late at night, after partaking of multiple libations.

Anyhow, I have a much-neglected level 60 KDF Tac in a Fleet Qib who uses Polaron weps and the Jem Hadar set. Any better suggestions for Engines/Deflector/Shield?

    if you have high flow cap you may be able to use the breen set. though delta is probably what they were talking about.

    if you don't use it alot it may be better to stick with the jem hader set since being a rep set delta cost a bit of dil.

    Iconian 3-set would give you far better results, as it buffs all energy damage via it's proc and can go higher than the Jem 2-set bonus. It helps with durability too, as each piece gives more durability and the 2-set is a nice shield heal you can trigger.

    AFAIK, nothing besides the Jem set buffs only Polaron damage, in either primary or secondary sets.

    When flow caps are maxed, that proc is dangerous. Plasmonic leech is icing on the cake.

    I use polaron weapons (dbb) on my manasa, and I don't use the jem set. the engine is not really interesting when you have already full weapon power, the shield is not bad but there are better shields. the deflector useless for me.
