Best Romulan race?

I play mostly liberated borg and I don't have problem with that for the Federation or the Klingon Empire, but for the Romulans, I feel my Liberated Borg is underpowered compared to regular Romulan due to the amazing traits they get.
- Liberated Borg : +30 Starship Warp Core Efficiency (+2 subsystem power @40), +10% Health Regeneration +6% Shield Regeneration (Ground).
- Romulan : Innate infiltrator +% dmg when leaving cloack, +stealth (Space). + Melee dmg, chance to knock (Ground). Access to Romulan Operative trait (+1.8% crit, +3.8% crit sev, +10% recharge on cloack - Space), access to Plasma weapon specialist (+15% dmg with plasma weapons - Ground), access to Soldier (+5% all dmg, +10% crit sev - ground), access to creative (+heal/dmg on kit abilities)

What do you think?
I am from Belgium and english isn't my main language, sorry if I make mistakes.

    Best species? The one you enjoy playing, basically... Personally i'm a big fan of Remans.

    I dont see what romulans have over remans, the traits should be pretty much the same save for infiltrator and mind drain for remans, plasma weapon specialist and covert operative for romulans.

    Since feds and kdf get a boat load of species the rom faction should get more, but i have no idea what that could be, suliban outside of STO don't make sense.

    The big difference is that romulans have access to infiltrator as inner trait.

    for DPS numbers regular Romulans might be best. But LibBorg tank better.

    It's actually not that big a difference. But the traits for regular Romulans are offensive, and LibBorg have defensive traits.
