  The best shield peeling I know of is high flow caps and weapon power backed by the tet glider set & the new torp. The torp can easily take of 10k or more shields to an entire group. The glider can easily take off 60+ per shot fired. Tet beams of any sort are optional but having tested most of them ... youll take off more shields with a good antiproton doing damage than you will proccing tet once every 200 shots or whatever it is. The proc rate is just too low to really get consistent results. The best shield strips is torp, glider, raw damage, sci skill in that order. WIth raw damage being #1 if you happen to be a uber dps player, but going off the average joe here, its third. All that said, not sure which weapon type is better because tet isnt pulling off enough shields to even register a blip on the total.

  Potentially Dominion Polaron if they came as more than cannons/regular beam arrays. They have the polaron drain proc and the tetryon shield drain proc.​​

  Weapons aren't really that big of a deal your flow capacitor based science abilities are what is going to do the damage to the shields as well as target subsystem (shields)
