Login2 Time Out?

Not sure what might be happening or if it is occurring with other people... but my son and I cannot seem to get past the character screen to sign in. My daughter is in the game waiting for us, but we can't get past the character selection screen.

The list takes an inordinately long time to show up, and then when a character can finally be selected, we get "Login2 timeout" so it seems like something with the character portion of the server.

Anyone else?

    Very slow to load the character screen and swapping maps.

    Yep, seeing this happening right now.

    This has been happening intermittently since S11 - just weird periods of time where logins get borked, then they come back.

    You arent alone in this. im also suffering the same issue :/ typical. if its not DDoS attacks its the account server being a spanner and not working properly

    yea same thing here, takes ages to load my chars and when i click play it starts loading the map then login2 timeout :(

    I'm also having the same issue not being able to get past "retrieving character list" and then "Login2_Timeout" forces me back to a login screen.

    I guess I spoke too soon. My game froze and I had to restart it, and now I can't get past retrieving list of characters again.

    I had only just begun Tour the Galaxy when the game booted me. :(

    I had just fallen down at the fleet embassy with my KDF main trying to find the ship repair, ran into invisible walls trying to get back, fell deeper between pipes with no way out, /unstuck doesn't send me anywhere, tried entering CCA, game froze completely then 'not responding', reloaded in safe mode, now having this problem too with the timeouts at login screen.

    I hope I didn't lose my KDF Main and someone can help retrieve her. I didn't use a shuttle from SB or anything, actually flew to New Rom, so don't think it'll default to sector space. Would bridge invites work?

    Also hoping this doesn't last too long, with the upgrade weekend and all ticking away.

    So yes I'm going to say it. . Coz here in the EU ZONE it means another day borked can you add some time to event please...​​

    Id rather just be given the 2 days worth of the item needed, running the event each day multiple times is making me want to hurt a stuffed animal.
