I Can't Get Into DS9!?

It's been loading for 5 minutes already!

I got disconnected the first time I tried.

Could some of you go do something else for 10 minutes so i can get this mission done for the Rep?

I have a massive fast system, but you know MMOs.

    I have been having this issue since Season 11 started. I get the same thing sometimes with ESD.

    It loads up to about 97% then just sits there. I end up just giving the game the ol' 3 finger salute (Ctrl+Alt+Del) and closing it out. Once I relaunch it, I appear in DS9 without a problem.

    Still, it sucks having to close and relaunch the game every time I want to go to ESD or DS9.

    this reminds me of an old bug when the game went f2p. I remember getting 98% while trying to beam to ESD then it just sitting there forever. I would have to restart the game to actually zone. Sounds like it's back :(

    @seaofsorrows 's method works but you can also run the game in window mode and just alt F4

    Relaunch did nothing for me.

    It would always race to 98% and hang there slowly counting up the small numbers about one per minute.

    I put in a ticket and just let it run.

    It took a minute shy of a full hour!! to almost get into DS9, then timed out of course.

    After I logged in again I got in.

    So Thank You to everyone who took a DS9 break.

    I'd had a few moments where it'd take a several minutes to load a map, but I never had to exit and restart the game.

    Try loading the web browser in game. Hold Shift and press TAB. I haven't had a kick from the game since I started doing it. There are times when I forget or I'm late so I suggest open the browser at the exact moment a load screen will appear. I don't know why, but it seems to push the game past a stall.

    Yes, thankfully no restarts were neccessary, but it does take an odd amount of time.

    And it seems to affect ESD occassionally now, too.
    Star Trek Online Advancement: You start with lowbie gear, you end with Lobi gear.

    I can not get into DS9 as well been waiting nearly 25mins now.
    This really needs to be fixed plus it dose not help the fact that half the story missions, Maco and Omega vendors, exchange and some of the new story missions are all set here, there really needs to be some sort of update.

    I think it queues you up for the next slot/ next new instance if there's a lot of people there. Every time it happens to me there's an unusually large number of people in ds9.
