Some consoles almost unusable since S11 patch.

in PC Gameplay Bug Reports
In fx the S S Azure mission and Dyson ground battlezone I have to stand at very specific points, both in angle and distance to use some of the consoles since the S11 patch (turn off plasma fires, push the device the generator control).

Tested on 2 computers.

    For me, mail consoles on ESD have a super-small interaction spot, you have to be standing ON the mail console in 1 very tiny location to receive your mail (for items etc).

    Edit: Post-patch Oct.29, I notice on ESD there is a second spot, also small but not AS small, about 6 feet in front of the mail consoles that work. May have been there previously and I just didn't step in the right place.

    I am totally unable to click the first console to stop the plasmafire. Tried multiple characters, replay and first time.

    About the ESD consoles - i reported that problem on Tribble server - well, it leaked to Holodeck... great (not really) :#

    The same thing happens with the consoles in the "What Lies Beneath" mission. I can't even complete the mission now.

    Ok, got the console to work. But you have to stand to the side or diagonal instead of in front.

    Mail and bank consoles in the ESD shipyard are messed up too. I have to jump up on them to use them and my character isn't even short.

    The Devs are aware of the issues with the Interaction Volumes of most consoles.

    The spot is not in the same place for all consoles. Keep trying different angles runnning up on console and then back out far away - take a couple step side ways (new angle) then run up on the console again - repeat till you get a blink of the "F to
    use" menu, then you know you found the spot, just need to hit it moving slowly back and forth over it till you get it.

    Great that the devs are aware of the issue (not really).

    Would be great (really) if they didnt apply the issue to the live server.

    There are quite a few that you have to stand a fair distance from to trigger them, if you get one that doesn't work start moving away slowly until you see the message pop up.
