STO Server Issues

Hello,

Three separate PC's and all are having a very sluggish time on STO. Connecting, transferring, and playing are all painfully slow. Here is my speedtest while playing http://results.speedtest.comcast.net/result/1090560004.png.

    Yep same thing. Started having problem with SNR earlier today and just tried again a few minutes ago and i keep getting timed out.

    Also adding another report of server-side lag issues. It's been going on for days now.

    Come on, Craptic. Get your TRIBBLE together and fix this.

    Yep, having problems. Sometimes I can get to the character selection screen, sometimes to the initial log in, but every time it get the timed out message. Speed test checks out. Different media is working just fine.

    use the program from pingplotter.com or pathping
    way better results than a simple traceroute

    I am stuck at the Patching screen of my launcher... cannot get past this no matter what I do

    patching takes a long time today with the new dawn, it goes with kb's instead of mb's and several times the connection is lost, now it takes hours to complete this patch

    Is it supposed to be stuck at the word Patching... and never showing anything else for minutes and minutes at a time? I used to see progress...

    Today is the release day for New Dawn so expect to have a long patch and extra lag on top of the usual stuff once in game. I'm just glad that I got in long enough to claim today's giveaway and get a few characters started on the Admiralty system.

    Having the same issue. Sent in a ticket. Still no response. No response here either. I don't think Arc or Perfectworld actually looks at the forums. You should put in a ticket also.

    Yeah, I sent in a ticket as well. No response from mine either. I seem to be getting the same problem daily during the same hours. Nothing is changing on my end in that regard, and I doubt it's my ISP since everything else works flawlessly, including other streamed games not through Arc.

    They have really screwed this game up, my main account I cant even log into forums it says it needs a pin but it isnt bloody sending it and this account which I have had for about 2-3 years apparently is a new account because im getting this message.

    "Please note that, for a short period of time after account creation, posting new threads is disabled. You will still, however, be able to post replies on already-existing threads as you like. After this probationary period, you'll be able to create threads as normal. Thank you!"

    I have had both accounts for years this one it doesnt detect my IP has changed but my main account is saying IP / Browser has changed and is asking for a pin that never gets sent.

    I had several issues with the launcher crashing whilst trying to download the patch and after I finally sorted that out when trying to load a character on the character select screen it crashes before I see the "Play" button is clickable.

    I am NOT happy and I am really hoping there isnt an event on atm.

    I was logging in every day to refine dilithium and Tuesdays login was flawless and yesterday I never got the chance but today I cant even get a character to load on the character select screen.

    Not even safe mode works, for christ sake what is going on. I have NEVER had crashes in this game before.

    Well, I'm not running Windows 10, I stick with good ol' & proven Win 7.
    All week long I've been experiencing serious lag around 5:00 PM PST, while the connection seemed somewhat ok earlier in the day (2:00 PM PST)
    Right now, 6:00 PM PST patch has been downloading for over an hour and a half and it's still at 35%, tuesday patch was 3 times larger and didn't take nearly as long.
    I seriously doubt the lag will allow me to play when the patch is finished, IF it finishes today.

    At least my download speed is manageable, since my download speed is incredible! Server-side, however, is a completely different story. I haven't had any problems around those times, but my problems are consistent throughout the day, even at 12 AM PST (I live in Arizona, around the Phoenix area, so I'll use Pacific Standard Time). So, my problem is apparently with the game itself rather than the launcher. Or I'm just getting extremely unlucky with my login times, because I tend to hop on around 3:30 PM PST.
    Also, people using the steam version of the launcher seem to be having similar problems to my own. And even worse, Safe Mode is even more unstable than the main version. I can't be using Safe Mode forever, you know...

    I patched fairly well, but I've been crashing for 3 days. Every time i go to use any weapon in my arsenal in space, it crashes on me. I deleted and reinstalled STO yesterday, and I'm STILL having a problem. Should I Just wait until they perform server maintenance tomorrow and see if that helps?

    I have the same problem. It takes forever for my launcher to start the game, forever to select a character and at least 2-5 times of trying before I can get into game. Once in game, totally laggy and can't play. This has been the case for a few days. My trace route is showing the same issues:
