I don't know to be honest...for a while now I haven't been to sure what to fly lol...just been going from ship to ship to ship I have.
I'd love a Romulan carrier...and well if we're dreaming about anything...I'd love it to have a model like the King Condor battleship from SFC...The Hawk class from SFC3 wasn't that bad...but I'd say it would be a Escort...and Romulans have plenty of those...maybe could make it a Sci ship...
Maybe not exactly what you're asking for, but I'd actually like to see the Interstellar Concordium introduced - bonus points of George Takei will do voice-over.
I have no idea what the property rights for a 10+ year old game like that is now, though. I did find their "peace through tyranny" mindset interesting, and could pose some interesting challenges given how much this game universe fights.
Ok, I don't know how to embed the video here, so just link to it.
K'Vort, Norway, Yeager, and the Romulan ship from 'The Next Phase' as its full sized self.
Norway and Yeager dammit... I still want my Typhoon and Jupiter though. JJ Trek The Kelvin Timeline is just Trek and it's fully canon... get over it. But I still prefer TAR.

What I'd wish for (especially the second part will never happen):
- add the remaining canon ships that aren't ingame yet (K'Vort etc...)
- remove all those non-canon, fantasy designs and restrict all those OPFOR and alien ships to their respective NPC or player factions.
What I'd realistically wish for:
- add the remaining canon ships that aren't ingame yet (K'Vort etc...)
- rather than adding more designs, make existing designs configurable to server different roles.

Unnamed combat ship from TNG episode: Unification part 1
"This unnamed combat vessel was encountered at the Qualor II depot in 2368.
Of unknown origin, the vessel was involved in smuggling starship components from the depot by taking the place of the holding vessel USS Tripoli. This combat vessel's armaments were considerable – its phasers were powerful enough to reduce a Galaxy-class starship's shields by at least 15% in a single volley.
Following the discovery of the remains of the Vulcan vessel T'Pau's navigational deflector, the USS Enterprise-D uncovered the operation, and - disguised as an abandoned ship - lay in wait for the vessel's arrival. When it took position to receive that day's shipment of goods, the Enterprise powered up and attempted to make contact. The vessel responded to hails by opening fire. A low-power phaser burst in return destroyed one of its phaser arrays, and caused collateral damage in her cargo bays - which at the time were fully loaded, mostly with weaponry. This led to massive power fluctuations and internal explosions, finally resulting in the destruction of the entire ship."

It's not that I think those ships look particularly good (except maybe the New Orleans), but that they would introduce interesting new ship configurations that Cryptic could then build upon with less fugly alternate variants.
You think? I don't. Look what happened with the Ambassador; very little customization.
Heh, yeah well they'd have to if they introduced those ships, or they'd never sell any except maybe to me.
I want that one ship that is the big high polygon count from bridgecommander kobayashi maru, that makes everyone lag when you use it but I forget the name of it. bigger than the sovereign but looked a little like it on steroids
Not doable. Cryptic can't touch material from other games because they belong to their respective companies. While I do think they would be awesome additions... legally its a no go.
It's improbable, not impossible. If Cryptic acquired those rights, then the problem would ultimately be solved. Would probably be costly, and unlikely, but not impossible.

Yea... most of the rights to other ships belong to Activision (anything from the Armada series, SFC3, and Away Team) or Bethesda (Legacy). Don't remember who did Dominion Wars though. The problem remains... how much would it cost to bring in some of those designs? Probably more than they're worth considering two of the companies are rather big.

Check my sig, still waiting for the Akula class. Should of been the tier 1 frigate instead of the Miranda. Should of been a tier 2 cruiser if you ask me.

SO basically TRIBBLE over the KDF and RR?

Sure, why not. I wouldn't shed a tear for all the chell'grets, attack ships ect... out there if they were gone and owners reimbursed. Why have a dozen different, ugly-TRIBBLE revamps of the D-7, K'tinga or B'Rel?
Same goes for the Fed side, with their Galaxy and Sovereign class abominations.
Those cameo 24th century ships that is in Wolf 359 and DS9 battles. Oh and Scoutship as pilotable small craft, and Argo(jeep, does it count)

New Orleans class, and a modern variant of it. A new Miranda class type. Not the actual ship, but the structural layout done from a more modern cruiser.

t6 BOP with 5 tac consoles OR 5 sci consoles. Triple Bonus points: pilot, intel, or sci ship (2nd deflector).
T6 anything sci ship kdf.
t6 anything sci ship rom.
t6 kdf frigate carrier
and yes, I *get* it. The point is that while the feds are worried about what color spoon they might get next, the other factions have major gaps.
Yes please.
