I've been getting this log in error for the last couple days now. I've searched the old posts and tried several things. I've reset the cable modem, run anti-malware bytes, reset all internet options and cookies. I have also done the ipconfig/ release, renew, and flushdns stuff. Anyone have more suggestions ?

As you probably found out, this happens when Cryptic's fraud prevention system identifies your IP address as authenticating to their systems too many times in a small window. The only way around it is to get a new IP address from your ISP. Doing a release/renew will usually not help if you attach to the internet via a router/cable modem/access point/etc.. as the IP address is probably coming from that and then being NAT/PAT to the ISP. Cryptic just sees the ISP IP address, not your local IP address.

There are a few ways around this, as it is hard to get a different IP from your ISP. You can use a tethered or portable hot-spot to get access to the Internet. Or you can use a program that spoofs your IP to a different one.
