We'll get a chance to do that too right? I'd love the option to vote on a Romulan ship. I might actually start playing again instead of waiting on the tvaro.
Very unlikely. I'd like to be wrong, but the other two get T6 ships when the Feds do, or sometimes even not at all.
well that would be very mean of cryptic, to shun a portion of their player base like that.
You mean like they have been almost since launch and became exceptionally apparent around season 8. Its gotten better since then but its been going on to one degree or another since early development.
In any case, if this current T6 carrier build-a-ship is any indicator, I'm not even sure I'd want the community involved in any ship design choices where non-Fed ships are concerned, lest we end up with a monstrosity like the Omega as well.

Considering the Atrox really could use some tier 6 love, even if it would be just command.

Yeah, I think Theta was best, and failing that, Gamma. The Omega is just ... unappealing.
Regardless, though, we need a T6 full carrier (and maybe another at a lower tier), and a T5-upgradeable and T6 Science warbird.

Absolutely we need carriers (and good science, desperately... or alternatively carrier/science hybrid) for KDF and Roms. Frankly, the Feds should either have got their carrier along side ours, or they should have been last in line where carriers are concerned.

Heh I agree. I have been voting for the ugliest fed ship designs possible. Simply cause I don't play a fed.
I'd say give the KDF carrier an updated look, a few improved stats that are an improvement over T5, a console, and a trait and we're done. For the Romulans? I'm not sure how to go about a carrier version of a warbird that doesn't make it look like a fat chicken so poorly done, the Ha'apax looks leaner and meaner.

So I take it it's Omega for you as well?
I voted for Sigma and would have settled for Theta. But as carriers aren't my specialty, the fact that those two are no longer on the menu, is a small loss
Feds get new ships constantly, KDF hasn't had a Bird of prey since tier 4. The ratio of Fed to KDF is appalling but they just don't care and never have. They keeping giving us cruisers I have so many of them I don't even hardly play anymore. KDF also had no straight SCI ships, Feds have 3 at T6, 6 if you count the fleet versions they all have. All they are doing lately is making more and more fed ships and sets to grind. They have zero new ideas just adda new faction to grind and let's not get started with the useless R&D grind that is s total waste of materials and time. I've played this game since beta and bought my life sub before release, I'm sick of this one sided development and rediculous tedius grind this game has become. I've found myself playing less and less. Since about season 8 I've not spent a dime on this game and won't until KDF actually gets a fair amount of time spent on some ship design that is not an old design with a few minor color changes and a removed battle cloak from the older lower tier ship.

Come on man. You've been around here long enough to know how this dance goes

And that would be the problem, how many Fed players would do this exact thing to the KDF or ROM ship polls?
Just going on population alone....Feds could influence the tide of the poll for the other two factions, and easily push it toward the design the players of that "faction" does not want.

Indeed, that's not cool at all -- and it's not consistent with mnhei'sahe. From the glossary in the back of The Romulan Way, by Diane Duane and Peter Norwood:
mnhei’sahe—the Ruling Passion: a concept or concept-complex which rules most of Rihannsu life in terms of honor. Mnhei’sahe is primarily occupied with courtesy to the people around one: this courtesy, depending on circumstances, may require killing a person to do him honor, or severely disadvantaging oneself on his behalf. There are many ramifications too involved to go into, but generally mnhei’sahe is satisfied if all the parties to an agreement or situation feel that their “face” or honor is intact after a social (or other) transaction. NB: The concept has occasionally been mistranslated as implying that a given action is done “for another person’s good.” This is incorrect; such a concept literally does not exist in Rihannsu. One does things for one’s own good—or rather, the good of one’s honor—and if properly carried out, the actions in question will have benefited the other parties in the transaction as well.
But yes, that sort of external sabotage of our chances to have something nice and that we actually want is very possible, by force of numbers alone, if a sufficient percentage of them decided to behave in such a manner.
I have voted for the designs I actually prefer, and will continue to do so.

I'ld give a 50% chance they'd vote for the wrong one and give us at least one of the ones we didn't mind that much.
