Game hanging at the random points during loading screens

Just like the title says my game has been hanging at random points during the loading screens for awhile now and slow loads into the game. I did a reinstall of the game recently hoping that would help but if anything it made it worse. Sometimes it can take upwards of 15 minutes or long for the game to load me into an area. If I'm trying to run a mission this is problematic as sometimes by the time I load in the mission is completed. This has been happening off and on for about 3 months now. Its recently gotten to the point just in the past day or so that it pretty much crashes at random times when I try to load in. Sometimes I can only get it to work again by shutting down the game through Task Manager and rebooting the game that way. I honestly don't know what else to do to get around this. Sometimes it's good, sometimes it does it horribly. Any ideas folks?

I had similar problems with loading screens hanging up on me until just recently when I seem to have found a fix for it - at least it works here. In the game, go into Options -> Advanced and turn the Reduced File Streaming option ON. Be sure to apply your changes. Hope this helps you.

I tried that and while it may have helped some it's still doing it

I have somewhat similar issues to the OP. That option was ON in settings. I turned it off. No real effect. It says in the mouse over description that off is hard on low RAM systems. ON or OFF this option does not affect my system at all. RAM usage is exactly the same (about 1/4 of my system total). GPU, CPU, and disk usage are the same as well. So, I'm not sure this option actually does anything at all.

There seems to be no end to this in sight. So much unplayability, that if they don't get to it soon, I might as well not even bother. Anyone want to haz my stuffz?

I keep hoping that the weekly patches will correct this and the stalled game launcher problems I've been having. Alas, still buggy as hell after the patch. I'll try the Reduce File Streaming tip shown above, but something is definitely screwed up somewhere. These problems arose suddenly about the time the server attacks were happening...

I can play the game but the point being it does it at random and VERY bad times when it does happen. For example trying to zone into a Crystalline Advanced mission. If it hangs at the start it can take forever to load in and by the time I load in the Crystal is at extremely low health assuming I'm able to shoot it at all. I believe my combat log is partly to blame for it because it lags horribly when I try to run it. Even still though it will hang and lockup even when I'm not running the log. This is my only major issue with the game at the moment is the hanging and slow loading.

I'm running on an 8 core AMD processor, 16 gigs of ram, and a GTX 750 video card. It's not exactly like I'm running an under powered rig. Overall the streaming option has had no effect for me. I tried running with it off and with it on but still got hanging issues. Aside from this my game is good to go. Not really sure what's up.

okay so a bit of an update to this one. I tried setting everything to the proxy US sever and it seems to have cleared everything up for the most part. I still have a hang or 2 once in awhile but nothing out of the ordinary like I had been. figured I would pass this along incase anyone else has the issues I was having.
